Hi There, I bot my Mac in 2021 and got the Microsoft office home & student 2019 version at the same time. I have had my Microsoft on auto update , but now it won't update and it appears I might need to do this update from your video. My fear is losing all my word & Excel documents if I trash my old version. Does the update automatically populate with all of my previous documents? When it comes to word and excel, please make sure that you have all of your excel files locally stored on your computer as .xlsx or .csv, and the word files stored as a .doc or .pdf prior to proceeding with the application. Sometimes, they may also be stored on OneDrive. I would recommend storing a copy of everything BOTH on OneDrive and locally on your computer.
