VinFast may have THE BEST BATTERY warranty of any EV! It needs to have a strong hook if this brand wants to steal market share from other EV sellers like Tesla, Hyundai and Kia... and let's not forget Polestar and Rivian.
Overall I liked the product. The one thing that I would change is the driver information center - it makes me uncomfortable not to have one. What do you think?
This is the VF8 Eco which doesn't have quite as many features as the Plus trim level. Priced in the high $40's.

Btw, some of VF8 owners in Vietnam switched to VF7, a smaller model, as it's too beautiful and they could not resist it.

VF7 has much better acceleration and handling due to the chassis being significantly lighter compare to the VF8, which is also one of the reason why people switch from 8 to 7

I and my wife sat in one in the Berkeley showroom two months ago. The interior is nicer than the interior of Tesla with better materials and richer color combinations. Other than that, the design is a little awkward. It somehow looks kind of sporty, but also at the same time and looks kind of ugly. Also, it does not support Tesla supercharging standard. Its charging time could be a bummer as well as I read their brochure that the car is not charging as fast as most of its competitors. Hummmmm.. And, how do we get the car to be serviced if need be .... Hummmmmm ... And, their cars are not cheap and no Federal tax credits. I think the Volvo EX30 is a better choice due to lower entry price point, nice range, faster charging, strong off-the-line acceleration no matter which trim the buyer chooses, the performance 0-60mph for the Volvo EX30 takes only 3.4 seconds, the lower trim needs only 5.2 seconds. So, I would rather go with either Model Y or the Volvo EX30.
