Thanks my job is still on hold so if I get deny I’m gonna have to see what my next plan will be I don’t see how they will deny me when I have lost 60 % function of my hands I can’t work in the radiology department anymore I’m so stressed thanks for listening.
Ive had lots of injuries at work, in fact my injuries have always been witness because I work with a team. sometimes my partners wouldn't file a report because they were men and felt embarrassed to file a report for injury but they would file an incident report of the incident and clearly state a hostile environment in which staff were injured. But they preferred not to include themself as the one being injured. my questioned is can I have co-workers sapoened pro se
I was approved for total knee replacement bilateral. What is the Value of my case. The QME said it's work related and I been on my job for 22 years in a grocery distortion center. I made over 31 dollars a hour and I'm 54 years old. My case was denied for the last 18 months. Please give me your estimated opinion . Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the comment, we can't give an estimated value to your case because there are more components that come into play when determining the value. Every case is different and once you are given your impairment rating in %, they will use that with the rest of you info to determine your case value.
I recently heard in one of your podcasts where bilal mentions something about some companies that provide workers comp loans if so is there any way you can provide details about those agencies?
Hello, thanks for your comment. I don't recall this conversation, are you referring to the companies who don't have workers' comp and if they get an injured worker the state woudl step in and cover the injured worker though a state fund that is designed to help injured workers in leu of thei employer not having workers' comp insurance? - Carmen
I asked Bilal if he remembered, he said there are companies that provide litigation advances, but he highly recommends not using them because their interest rates are predatory.
How do you get your whole settlement check in full and not in payments I have a rating of 60% whole body impermanent and not sure how much my case is worth I’m going to have to go out on medical disability.SSDI after my work injury.
hi, im also an injure worker in workers comp for 5 years now, what I know regarding payments, it is the employer decision to choose if they want to pay in a lump sum or in payments.
Are you applying for SSDI does your injury qualify you ?I have bilateral hands impairment with my right hand being contracted after having surgery and they also diagnosed me with CRPS my work restrictions are no use of right or left hand and my job cannot accommodate me.
@@heyits9 there is a difference what is considered disabled in workers compensation and social security. It took me 2 years to qualify ssdi, and it is normal for ssdi to deny you first two times. I got a ssdi lawyer after the first deny. I highly recommend it to get one and see what is their opinion of your injury.
