Hi John, I'm a neighbour in Bradford, had gastric bypass surgery in August and i'm around 7 stone down, with another 4/5 to go. I've watched a load of your videos and want to thank you for showing the ups and downs of the whole process, it's been very helpful. Sorry to hear about your mum, i was in that position a few years back. The pain doesn't become any less but it does get easier to handle over time. Glad to hear things are going well with your professional career. Regarding your skin, i had a similar issue and i stopped using any seed oils and only use olive or avocado oil which cleared things up quickly. Seed oils are highly processed and can cause inflamation in the body.
Great to see another video by the worldwide men's bariatric inspiration! I'm a year out VSG, down 100, still slowly losing. But i have found mountain biking, and done trails i never eould have imagined. Also becoma a single dad with 50/50, but stuck to it. So sorry about your mom buddy, i honestly feel like my mom is my rock too.

Sorry about ya mam, I lost mine in 2017 it's still raw and people say it gets better it gets easier....it dont you just learn to adapt and carry on with ya life. I think about my mam every day. Stay strong.
Nice to see you. So sorry to hear about your mum. She was a lovely lady. I have memories of her from back when you all lived in the end house. As we were both raising 3 children ,of similar ages,we used to chat over the garden fence. You were often the topic of conversation, along with my son 😅. Take care
Nice to see you back. Sorry on the passing of your Mum. I lost my Mum in June, and miss her so much 😢. I am still on my weightloss surgery journey. I'm due to see my surgeon on Wednesday 3rd January. I’m booked in for a sleeve on 25th May and your videos have been such a comfort. You put my mind at rest and stopped me feeling too nervous. I see how far you’ve come and it’s so inspiring, so thank you. I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your mum. I lost my dad in March and I wouldn’t wish that sadness on anyone. But your mum would be so amazingly proud of how incredibly well you’ve done. I’m sad that my dad never got to see me at a lower weight.
I'm getting my surgery this Friday , the 17th of May, with 3 days left of my liquid diet! I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Wishing you the best ❤❤❤
@@lolahernandez6871just started my liver reduction diet and thought I’d hate it but it’s been ok so far 🤞🏼 I’ve got such a toxic relationship with food and it’s showing me I can control it, so I feel stronger. Hi John, sorry to hear about the loss of your mum, how is your journey going? I am from NZ and had surgery in July 2023 and its been 10-months now, I was 28.6 stones now I'm 14.8 stones.

Found your RU-vid channel from a search I done before I decided to speak to my doctor about having gastric sleeve surgery, I’ve struggled with my weight for years after loosing 5 stone with slimming world and putting it back on and trying everything as advised I decided enough was enough I have all this weight, a hernia, type 2 diabetes and back and joint pain at 38 year old that’s depressing so I’ve been referred to my local hospital specialist and I’ve been told the treatment start date is estimated to start June 2024 fingers crossed I get an appointment through soon thanks again for your amazing videos

I really Just wanted to say thank you, we were very very similar individuals I weighed 380Lbs closer to 400Lbs probably and decided to get the surgery and your videos helped me out Significantly, just to be able to see how someone else again as similar as we are was dealing with things and how you were doing things I can’t express my gratitude. @@rickyparker6022everything went really well thank you. Currently 8 weeks post op and I’m 2 and half stone down and back to eating normal types of food just in much smaller quantities. I’m definitely glad I took the plunge
My precious mother died 7 years ago. It still hurts. But now I can think about her without crying. I’m so sorry that you lost your mother. She looked much too young to die. I had the RNY Gastric Bypass 4 months ago. I’m 64 years old. I’m not losing as fast as I hoped, but it’s coming down. I had to stop my blood pressure medications. I’m not in as much pain. I can move more easily, my balance is improving. Having Bariatric surgery was a great decision.
