Here we are, it's 2024. I really do believe that 2024 will be an exciting year for this channel in Thailand and abroad. I have lots of things planned. Join me for a walk in the Punnawithi area of Bangkok on another sunny day in Thailand. We will explore some places, eat some yummy Thai food and I will share with you what my plans are for 2024. Both here in Thailand, and abroad. There are a number of international destinations on my travel itinerary in 2024. I will also be doing at least 2-3 more motorbike trips on my little Honda ADV 160. Today was a fun exploration of an area I have not visited before. Of course, I got lost. Twice. Let's go explore!

Your travel plans for 2024 sound amazing. Oh for the plastic chairs, I recommend doubling them up. That's what I have to do for those chairs but I especially do with the stools. You weigh 100kg, that is great man. Not fat at all.

The misses and I are relocating permanently to Surat Thani in October..Building a large workshop to fix and school the locals on self maintenance for scooters and big bikes and to build some cars Thai style :) etc.. I have never seen a high-rise/temple integration like that. It looks incredible. Nice slogan in English too "Patience is the cause of freedom from suffering". Oh as I typed this, I realized they spelled suffering wrong but it gets the point across. I love when you explore truly less traveled areas like this.

In our culture, the Buddhist temples are the center of everything Therefore the school is part of the temple Next time when you are revisiting the temple I would recommend you to go up to the Ubosot aka Bot ( Ordination hall ) it’s beautiful The monk that you saw on the billboard was the abbot He had passed away probably two years ago His holiness was very famous and went to the monk hood since he was very young He was one of the pioneer who brought the Buddhism to the west His holiness was also resided in Canada at the Thai temple there.

The Dhammamogkol temple you just visit.. has the biggest 32 tons jade buddha... I think you need to revisit. and if you wait til the evening you'll find yourself in the expat community loads of foreigners in this 101 soi.

New Zealand is a really good place to visit because of the variety of landscape excellent for youtubers. You can rent a motorbike and travel the whole country in 2 weeks and it's only to 3 hours from Australia.

Looking forward to this year's vlogs. I enjoy your little neighborhood wanderings. Good luck with your weight loss program, cutting down on sugars and snacks is a great start though it takes a while for the yearnings to stop, well, they never stop, just subside a bit. Two burning questions for you: where does all the money come from for all the Wats and how the heck to 7/11 workers listen to those door chimes all day long without going round the bend? Yeah, I’m definitely trying my best to get in shape. I’ve had a less than healthy relationship with food most of my life.lol. The temples get most of their money from donations. I think every single type person goes to temple and they always donate. They also have wealthy benefactors. The communities typically pitch in as well. So the most beautiful temples I’ve seen were in small little towns. It always shocked me how they were able to afford to build such beautiful temples. Ask for the 7-Eleven dingdong sound. Don’t tell anyone, but sometimes I superimpose that sound. It is very rare to hear it, especially that loud in most of the 7-Elevens. It’s usually very quiet. The “hello welcome” part is a rare these days and almost completely nonexistent in Thailand.

Hi Serg, Just saw your IG. I guess you were wondering why there are Dinosaurs at the mall. This year, "Children's Day" in Thailand is on Saturday January 13th, 2024. That's why you'll see many attractions at many shopping malls and other places geared towards children. Many people also like to donate toys to those less fortunate children on this special occasion. 👍👍👍

Best wish for your 2024! Looking forward for more great content from you! Notice that you plan to go to Isaan so I recommend you to, instead of go to Khon Kaen via Mittraphap road, ride north from Saraburi to spend a night in Petchabun. Then go to Khon Kaen through Nam Nao National Park. I think you will enjoy the road and scenic!

@@LifewithSergit is difficult in Thailand because Rice is a staple there but you can do it as a normal part of eating, don't look at it like a diet. I was training in Jetts gym opposite T21 when I was there, what a gym... I use Jetts here in Australia but that gym is something special. Its good you are looking at the different parts of BKK too, I didn't know half the stuff you video, but they are good

Serg, you will love Japan, i have visited many times, and love it. Have you explored the Samrong area, and Wat Dan Temple. Its a very interesting area with Chinese markets, and i didnt see any tourists when i visited 2 weeks ago. All the best.

Yes, I’ve made several videos in that area. It’s a nice area to go, because there are very few tourists there.
