You could let some tips. For the price you eat actually alot. Mark said, more than one plate , is not polite. Farang are eating alot, 10 people like you / day, they would close after one month. 🙄🙄🙄
I'm Thai. youtuber helps a lot in our country's tourism, I always thank them by supporting them and this channel is very good. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and wish you happiness and good health.
I was there in the last week of March 23 and it still surprises me of the food quality and how welcoming the other customers and staff are. Great review.
I totally agree Mark. There’s been a couple of idiots in the comments who said I was greedy for taking more than one plate. Almost every single type person. There was taking multiple plates. That’s why it’s called an all you can eat buffet. Glad you enjoyed it as well Mark!
Honestly, I am so happy with RU-vid algorithms that finally recommended me an interesting channel about Thailand. You are an innate narrator and what you tell is indeed useful for the ones interested in living in the country of 1000 smiles. Thank you for your hard work on here!
I absolutely trust street food vendors. I don’t eat food like this every day, but I do like to try it when there is an opportunity. Glad you enjoyed it!
I am glad, you finally stop by at this place cause I watched many youTubers stoped and tried foods here. The price is grate , nobody can complain about how good of the foods because they are buffet.😊
Not sure if all of my guesses are right. First Round : green curry >> holy basil stir-fry with chicken's liver and gizzard(liver is tender/gizzard is chewy) >>> glass noodle stir-fry >>> preserved pork sausage(not sure what kind of)stir-fry >>> stir-fried bean sprout with veggie tofu Second Round : red curry chicken & pumpkin(i think what you eat is actually chicken blood. pig blood is quite floppy) >>> morning glory(water spinach) stir-fry with pork belly(if not it's intestine) >>> long egg plant stir-fry with minced pork >>> red curry stir-fry >>> maybe yellow curry stir-fry??? >>> bamboo shoot stir-fry >>> stir-fried zucchini with egg(hardly see the egg though, but of course nobody complains because it's very cheap buffet😋😋) Third Round : isn't that fried shrimp?????😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
Yes, it is one of excellent street food, compared to the money you pay for it. This may help. I try to see what food is in the buffet. I might not be 100% correct but this is my guess. Food from the left to the right The meat of the day means = the owner can choose to cook with different meat depending on each day. It can be anything chicken, pork, beef, prawns, etc. Top row from left to right. 1. Red curry + coconut milk with pumpkin and meat of the day. Kaeng Ped Fakthong. (Pumpkin is called Fakthong in the Thai language) 2. Stir-fried morning glory + chilies and pork belly. Pad Pak Boog Faidang (with meat) 3. Mince pork stir-fried with long-eggplant, basil leaf (horapa type not kraprao) and chilies. Pad Prik Ma Keur Moo Sab. 4. Cucumber stir-fried with eggs and a few whole chilies. Tang Kwa Pad Khai. 5. I cannot tell, I cannot see it clearly. 6. Bamboo shoot stir-fried in garlic, chilies and minced pork or chicken. Normai Pad Prik (with minced pork or chicken) Bottom row from left to right. 1. Chicken red curry with round eggplant and meat of the day. Kaeng Ped Gai 2. I am not sure but It should be pork belly stir-fried with red chili pates long beans and chilies. Maybe with onion too. I cannot see it clearly. Moo Sam Chan Pad Prik Kaeng. 3. Stir-fried grass with vermicelli, garlic, and mixed vegetables. Woonsen Pad Khai. 4. Stir-fried bean sprouts with garlic, spring onion and tofu. Tour Ngok Pad Tao Hoo. 5. Stir-fried catfish with long beans in red curry pastes. Pla Dook Pad Prik Kaeng. On the right. I think it is free broth soup.
😍 Wow, that's amazing! $1.45 for an all-you-can-eat buffet is such a steal! The variety of rice and curries looked delicious too. I'll definitely have to check this place out the next time I'm in Bangkok. Thanks for sharing your experience with us!
I can't believe you had all that meat at 10am! I had never seen green eggplant before! I looked it up and I see there is a Thai green eggplant. Thanks for taking us along with you. It looked like a wonderful trip!
Yeah, the small green eggplants are delicious. I’ve never had them in the US before. This place is very popular with the motorbike taxi guys and a lot of of the workers in the area.
You ate very little rice as most Thai dishes have a strong flavor to be eaten with steamed rice or sticky rice. You're so good at eating any kinds of food deliciously. Have a great time enjoying Thai food and have a good peaceful stay in Thailand.
"This is the most amazing video! I will definitely accompany you to this restaurant. As a Bangkok local, I've never seen anything quite like it before."
That is so unbelievable for 50 baht. The food looks great. I've seen this place featured on a lot of channels, including Mark Weins but your description and sharing of the experience was my favorite. It's so funny other RU-vidrs were there also. The owners seem pretty used to that :). Great job trying all 12. What a great way to get exposed and add to the arsenal of Thai dishes you are familiar with.
Honestly I know you want to try it BUT this spot is for local taxi driver/ locals who really need to eat fast and get back to work. Please do not take up their spaces by sitting on chairs for 30-40 minutes (only have like 15 chairs to dine-in).
@@tonythaiger93 Tony, I don't think any of us came to Thailand to be told what to do by you or anyone else. Nor, have I ever seen this place with people unable to eat. The two times I have been there I have eaten standing, there is tons of space. Anyone can eat wherever they want here, there aren't class zones, this isn't the Soviet Union.
I just ate here on 8-17-24, only 50 baht! As picky american eating tourist, it was yummy with 12 pans to choose from. It's located at Lumphini Park, a 15-minute walk from Pat Pong 😊
Wonderful video.. it would take a few weeks or months to adjust a North American stomach to accept some of the different food combinations, and yes wet naps are a must...
Your videos are so fun, interesting and informative! I really enjoy your channel. My neighbor, who is a young Thai woman here in the USA studying to be an engineer, showed me your channel! She knows my husband and I are interested in visiting her country and maybe moving there. We are older and we consider her our “adopted” daughter. Her parents are still alive in Thailand, but we have taken her under our wing. She is a beautiful, delightful person. She makes delicious Thai food and shares with us sometime. Thanks again for your channel and videos, Serg! 🙏😊❤️👍🏻 PS That buffet looks amazing and delicious!!
Hello Melody! I am so happy to know that you enjoy these videos. Sounds like you have a wonderful neighbor. Hopefully you’ll be able to come and visit this country, I think you will find it full of warm and lovely people and a wonderful culture. See you soon!
Seeing you eat, it's delicious. I want to eat there too once. In Thailand, there are many places that sell good food at cheap prices. Because they can save space rent. and want to help people with low incomes but want to eat full Most importantly, the owners of these shops are good-hearted and kind to others.
Yes, the owner was extremely nice and kept telling me to go ahead and take more food. She’s been in business for a long time, and I hope he has many more successfully years.
There’s all kinds of places like this. I don’t recommend eating street food every day. Most of it is extremely unhealthy as it is usually fried and loaded with salt and sugar.
I have been talking about this quite often to my family and colleagues/friends, but I never tried it. I like to go there one day with the family (My eldest sister, my two nephews and brother in law lives there). I have recommended this to my colleague who is going there in October this year. It’s great to see people trying this.
Today I subscribed this channel, cause his point of view in tour is very interesting for me and something realistic. Hey, bro, I love your video, it makes me feel I am traveling. Good job.
The 'zucchini' vegetable @8:00 is called chi qua in Chinese or sometimes called 'loofah' in english. Im not sure what it's called in Thai but it's one of my favourite vegetables!
Ahan thai aroy tisut. Been 7 times in Thailand and I have favourite food. Last time I've been there, I tried khao ka mo for the first time, it was amazing. 😊
Another fun video. 555 lol Serg, you paid after finishing the meal while there's a sign in Thai; right in front of the fried rice, that says "Pay first" (ชำระเงินก่อนค่ะ) and she still handed you a plate without paying for it first. She's too kind to a farang (foreigner). 😄
Hey Serg, yesterday, Shake Shack burger has been opened the first branch in Thailand which is located at Central world G floor (beside the mall courtyard). You are a food blog youtuber so I just want you to try it and make some review clip. I heard that the line is so long you might wait 2 hr for having a seat) Enjoy 😊
That's so sad. There are too many fat people in the USA/Australia partly because of junk food. We need places like he showed today in this video and food doesn't taste better.
I saw this on Mark Wiens channel years ago and i was wondering if it’s still available. Thanks to you now I know they still cooking. I’m planning to go in August this year. Thanks for the video
i'm born and raised in thailand, yet i have to watch serge for recommendations on where to go in thailand haha he knows more about thailand "real life" than most thai people lol.
We have plenty of food 24/7, and we've gotten used to it. I found a big problem when I was in London for the first time as I could not find a proper breakfast anywhere near my flat. In the end, for my breakfast, I turn to a big bowl of fruit yogurt nearly every day. It's really nice to see you enjoy breakfast by the road and you use a fork and spoon also. Thumb up.
I liked the al you can eat place in Bangkok. Many vloggers go there. Behind you was another vlogger A-train is his name i saw you and i must watch your vlog to thanks for sharing👍🥰
I generally advise against sitting down to eat street food where the stall has no access to running water. As you saw in this video, they wash all the bowls and cutlery in buckets of water. As the day wears on, and the place gets busier, the water gets murkier and the utensils have no time to dry before being re-used. This is how you catch hep A and other horrors. The food may be fresh and hygienically prepared but the germs live on the inadequately washed utensils. Local people are more resistant to these germs than visitors so don't let the fact that there are many customers fool you into thinking it must be safe.
This kind of market is an essential economic link, one; they have money left to spend elsewhere, two; great for tourism, three the merchants still make profit, win/win situation.
Most areas in the city You can buy no more than 2 food at a price of 50 baht. But for here You can fully fill your power at a price of 50 baht. Therefore, this shop is the hope of the person who needs the most food at this price.
I record all my videos using my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I use a Manfroto handheld tripod and just tucked it into the cross strap on my backpack. Super basic, but it worked out well.
@@LifewithSerg one more question serg, when you have got the camera on you, do you use the front or back iphone camera? if you use the back, is there anyway to turn the screen off while recording? Thanks
