0:15 - I instinctively said 'yuck' out loud. I love the environment as much as the next guy, but do we really need it? A future of nothing but that wheedling, whiny electric toothbrush noise is bleak to me. P.S. I will watch the rest of the video, I promise.
I honestly dont mind the sound aslong as its not everywhere, i think in the next 50 years we will find a source of energy much more powerful than the combustion engine and the battery, and will be environmentally friendly, so i dont think the electric engine will last that long
@@TurnOne350 I've heard rumblings about e-fuels, so I have my fingers crossed. Some people love EVs, but there are those of nus who carry the flame for the LFAs and the stustustus and the supercharger whines and would be sad to see them all disappear.
@@thesprawl2361 i dont think we should be picking sides, it should be about which is the most efficient, the cheapest, and best for the environment, atm the combination engine is the best, diesel came and went but that was purely efficient
@@TurnOne350 I don't think any of us will have the choice over which side to pick, and thankfully so because the public generally don't have a clue about any of this stuff, and even if we did you can rely on us to regularly make the wrong choice for the long term future. It's why we have representative democracies with experts in charge. Not a popular view these days but I don't care - we need experts in charge because most people know nothing about anything and will just vote Brexit or Trump and see the future in terms of the next three or four minutes.
@@thesprawl2361 i agree, but the choice is mostly with the big businesses rather than the politicians, atm electric engines arent selling aswell as regular petrol cars so we probably wont see the shift for a few years
