So what? it's a saloon car... It's a high-performance street car, not meant for track racing. Buyers of these cars don't care about the weight.

@@adi8216 😝😝😝. What kind of car you driving across the pond? because it isn’t an M5 based on that comment. I tossed my allocation in the trash for the g90 when I saw the weight specs. My m8 grancoupe is noticeably heavier than my m5cs. We are talking 150-lbs difference between the two, imagine 1,400-lbs heavier which is where the g90 is. It’s heavier than my x6m

I drive a four-year-old M8 coupe competition. Previously, I owned a pre-LCI f90 and an f86 X6M. I hope that helps.

@@adi8216 great. I test drove an xm, the drivetrain was terrible and couldn’t figure out which mode it wanted to be in. Let alone the weight was so high that the low profile tires struggled to keep the car from tram-lining and the handling wasn’t there. The g90 gets the same powertrain and it would be foolish to expect any different in experience than the xm. Very sad days for bmw ahead. My wife thought I was crazy for buying two 22 f90 but now it’s looking like a great move, although I do think the pre-lci is a far more beautiful car. I think the 2024 m8 is the last true M car with a V8 people should buy them while they can.
