Purchased 2025 Equinox RS 8-11-24; one word --> F A N T A S T I C. Did not pay extra for color, went with metallic, and it looks SUPER. This video NAILS it. At a minimum go with the RS trim. You can choose LT with options to save $$$.
@@susan9553I have a 2023 with the same 1.5. As long as you don’t need to drag race it it’s fine. Is it a lil sluggish off a light? Yes. But casual driving, it’s plenty.
I think Chevy’s interior quality has come a long way in the more recent models, but I’d definitely prefer something like the Activ (which seems similarly priced to this trim) than the sporty designs! Great walkthrough as always
Hyundai Tucson Limited-Heads up display, Leather seating, Rain sensing wipers, etc. More horsepower, 8 Speed automatic transmission for both FWD and AWD. I really like your reviews though. Very specific and complete. More in depth than some others.
40k, depending on the location. I have a build from the Chevrolet site for a RS 39,470 with sun/moonroof safty and technology package Radiant Red tintcoat minus the Convenience Package 3 and cargo shade. And it's coming to my area at that price.
I know I have a 2022 Equinox RS in this color buy chance and have the Bose system which was an option in 2022. This is Chev decontenting their products and increase it pricing per trim. In 2022 her in Canada I got my a fully loaded RS for just over 32,000 Canadian, now same vehicle granted US dollars add 30% for exchange this will be 52 grand here in Canada? These wont sell here at that price. So 18 thousand more for a 8 spee transmission, a body redesign but same underpinnings? No this is ridicoulous practice
Chevy has the Volt tech with the battery generator system which is better than the a hybrid but similar. Why Chev doesn’t use this Tech in any of their vehicle line up is beyond me. The money spend in R and D and so real world usages. Is a head scratcher for sure.
I like the look of this vehicle, but they really missed the mark . How can you charge $40,000.00 for a fully loaded vehicle and not have a premium sound system, I don't get that . And they should have had power folding mirrors for the price they are charging. Come on Chevy what are you guys doing !
Made in Mexico and only contains 15% American parts so this is a foreign vehicle with an American badge. I will just by a foreign badge made in America with American labor and support Americans.
Best $40k ? Well idk I have a 24 premier awd loaded with RS package. depreciation alone if the 25 is anything like the 24 in the market in 6 months. No, No its not the best lol. 22k lost in value in 6 months. It hurts. But man makes my 24 that was over 40k look like a Chinese tonka toy. Oh wait...
What I don't like about GM: Cost cutting. Its competitors tend not to be cheap and tacky. And why are so many GM products not made in the USA? Mostly Mexico or Korean, come on.
CRV, RAV4, Mazda CX-50, blow this Equinox out of the water. Reliability, resale, and overall maintenance costs for the vehicle's life are historically horrific for this model.
@@stevegolacks8731 The headache and cost of ownership will ruin your finances. Shop smarter. Look at the bigger picture. Protect your money. Automobile cost is a wealth killer.
@@TheFlyrodder68 Of course cars are not investments. I realized that when i was 18 years old. I also realize that cars are fun and AWESOME to own. Cars like the equinox or Highlander are great for roadtrips, and cars like my Supra are great for weekend car shows! The best solution to all of this is to get a good job, make a bunch of money, and have fun! You only get one life, live it!
