Buffalo NY here. Got my 2023 xlt hybrid past August. No issue with no rear defog. The rear hatch 30 bucks I used extra ford points to buy from ford damper shock. . The rotary snifter automatically goes into park when you shut it off. I have Key so I guess same on push button one? The push button one does look kinda far away. I prefer key No key fob sending off signal to catch and make there own new fob for thief. . Door handle I never even gave it a thought and have zero issue.
Chevy Spark - gone. Hyundai Accent - gone. Kia Rio - gone. Honda Fit - gone. Dodge Dart.Ford Fiesta. Toyota Yaris. Suzuki everything. Saturn. all Discontinued! now threat of Venue, Malibu, Imprezza, maybe more, set for extinction. this makes new car on a budget seemingly impossible!
Bought the limited about 3 weeks ago. Love it but was not aware there was a hybrid version unfortunately. Still love the vehicle and I have had no issues at all.
Power Folding outside mirror ? Palisade outside the US has them; Kia has them; If you offer smart-park for tight parking spaces, wouldn't you have a need to fold your mirrors ?? So, so many luxury features and not a basic like this....I can buy a 20 year-old chevy that has them.
3 hour drive and you said you were pretty tired. is that from the driving, or trying to drive and do the video, and navigate. anyway it is a good review, thanks. have a good weekend
Thank you! It was a long couple days outside of the trip including filming videos at the Chicago Auto Show. The trip back was easy considering I didn't have to charge. It would have been the same as an ICE vehicle had the plan working and I hadn't had to charge on the way up either.
Genesis’ advantage over its competitors was value of content. Due to 2021 market conditions and more recently inflation, a large majority of that appears to be gone. This combined with Hyundai’s curious choice to create a prestige nameplate but to provide only a minimal amount of dealership support leaves buyers wondering what their plans are for the division. The one lasting advantage they have is their warranty. However, that being said, most people lease for 3 years so it doesn’t really come into play.
I was going to get a Ioniq 5 but I got am Ultimate Kona instead. I car camp a lot when I see family and having a 4KW capable plug in the back means I no longer need to deal with power stations when I travel. Also as charging is free where I go I can sit by the charger for days and properly camp. I love it especially as the seats go all the way back
I have a problem where my car just doesn't detect the system update usb at all. My sync 3 version on both the car and the ford website says 3.0.17276. After putting in the vin number, the ford website tells me I can update to 3.0.23219. So I downloaded the files and put in on my 8gb exfat usb drive and the car would not detect the update. I did put the files to the root of the usb drive, just like this video. What's weird is that with the wifi method from settings, my car also can't detect the new update that way. It just scans, and then stops scanning like it already has the latest version, but clearly the ford website says I don't. What's the problem? I have a ford explorer 2018 by the way.
Hahaha “The Wraith” 😂 Officer pulls him over and he tells the guy, excuse me sir, can you turn down the exhaust volume, it’s too loud and he reply’s sure Officer as he presses the button from 95 to 30 😂 lol
Great comparison mate, fyi I had that press harder to activate auto stop on my 22 Mercedes, also you forgot to mention the press to talk to third row passengers feature on the Palisades The major difference is the APR where Hyundai is offering 3.99% + $500 off while Lexus is asking for 8.29% Besides all that, you've missed other key features for the Palisades, such as 24 IIHS top safety pick, blind spot view, remote control forward and backward, and auto self park from inside and outside of the vehicle
I bought a TX 350 premium... very nice BUT... at 80+ MPH, it is TOO DARN LOUD inside (you will be PISSED at 85-90 mph). My 2007 Tundra is quieter. My kids' Hyundai Elantra and Tucson are quieter at that speed. I recently test drove a Hyundai Palisade and at less than 20K... the Palisade is fully loaded and quieter. My wife's old RX 350 is quieter too at 80+ mph speed
I bought a 2024 Limited last month. I am 6'1" and have no problem with the seating position relative to the armrest. In fact, I think it feels like the back of the cushion is lower that the front in the lowest position. As for the sound system, the loudness is probably a non-issue for those buying this vehicle...it is a family hauler not a a hip-hop ride. Rumor has it there will be an OTA software update to allow wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto in the not so distant future.
@@ptg01 no complaints. I’m not expecting sports car performance though. It has plenty to pickup coming out of intersections and the usual type of city driving we experience. So far we’ve left it in eco. Haven’t felt the need to try sports mode.
There needs to be a 2.0 turbo engine option. 1.5 is too small for this size vehicle, especially if equipped with AWD. 8 speed automatic is the only way to go unless you enjoy a mundane driving experience. Why even offer a CV transmission?
