I would like to see full leather on the door and on the dashboard. I would also like to see some padding where your knees were dressed because I feel like this plastic even though it looks durable but it should be nice seeing some panting so that the Chevrolet Equinox would be on part like the Mercedes-Benz products.

Anyone complaining about the engine size has never driven an AWD. This car drives even better than it looks, and it certainly has the best design in the class that goes for both exterior and the new interior!
@@brucekalter4206 never did I ever think I would be interested in a freaking equinox but here I am. I don’t like that the fwd has a cvt though. Would have wanted the torque converter 8 sp on the awd.
I sat inside one of them myself. I wish Chevy offered a lighter colored interior ceiling. If felt cave-like. Not everyone likes that much darkness. Also, I'm on the taller side. When I turned off the camera rear view mirror and just used it like a normal mirror, the reflection was too low. I couldn't adjust it higher to see out of it. I had to lower my head. Even the salesman said he had similar issues in his personal Chevy vehicle. Please fix these two things, Chevy.
Im not a chevy guy but i do appreciate that they are giving you a nice Infotainment screen even on their base models (i know this isnt the base) and their Newest Uconnect software is very responsive.
Looks great in and out, but 170 horsepower won’t cut it, especially once you have passengers in it. Plus you can’t even tow anything with it. 800 or 1500 pounds? That’s literally nothing. Not even my pop up camper.

Best thing about this car....its made in mexico! So no worrying if the UAW employee was sober the day he screwed the bolts in. My 2020 drives great, and gets 36 mpgs on road trips.
@@BigAltimaEnergy719the Hornet doesn't sell in any trim level, and if I had to guess, Ford doesn't sell too many STs. I'm pretty appaled that GM carried over the 1.5 as well but it never needed to be a standard 200+ HP either. 190 with improved efficiency would have been great.
Love the way it looks also. The design and color palette are fire. No SuperCruise and that awful engine/transmission. Pass for now. Maybe they’ll listen to customers and shoppers to change that dang powertrain and add SuperCruise as a stand alone option…
@@lilred1107 Wrong. It literally is the worst power is segment. There's no compact crossover that is worse. For example, the 1.5T CVT in the Equinox does 175hp/184ftlbs and 28mpg highway while the 1.5T CVT in the Nissan Rogue does 201hp/225ftlbs and 37mpg highway, significantly higher in power and fuel economy.
I like how Garbage Motors is calling it leatherette seating............ How about just call it we cheeped out and put vinyl seating back in from the 70's and kept the singer sewing machine engine.
How does this have less cargo space than the Rav4? This looks way bigger than Rav4. Everything is bigger than the tiny cramped Rav4. Even Honda Civic, a compact Sedan seems bigger than Rav4
It’s better than the current Equinox but I think because all of Chevrolet’s vehicles look the same - it already looks dated. Once rental companies get them and they’re all over the road, that be even more the case.
You do realize all manufacturers are moving to an identical design language across all models, right? Also there is no exclusive vehicle not in rental fleets.

Chevrolet actually rivals Toyota in reliability as they are both ranked above average. Toyota has been riddled with way more problems than Chevrolet as of recently.
@@aamitche1 GM is reliable in america car brand and Toyota is reliable in Japan car brand... they are competition of reliable of engines... my point is Toyota isn't reliable as it used to be fyi. I own them both cars...
I took my Jeep in for service a month ago and they loaned me a 2024 Equinox that was traded in but used as a rental. It was a POS, so noisy at 55 mph that you could not hear yourself think. It drove like a Tank and the finish inside was crap.
This is what is destroying the environment. Garbage year after year from GM send this Chevy straight to the junkyard. Same trash and it’s still overpriced. The back of the car doesn’t even look finished. That rear center vent pillar is so ugly even for an economy compact crossover. Cheap plastic already scuffed in the video of a car that is presented for very limited access to those allowed to review it. Garbage. I understand you have to review it. Just garbage. My 1991 Chevy beretta coupe had the exact same plastic material. I can’t believe they are selling even worse garbage decades later. I had more horsepower and better fuel mileage with a normally aspirated engine lol. Embargo his vehicle for good.
Meanwhile Toyota is recalling every truck they make, all evs are trash, Hyundai Kia engines are going bad and easy to steal, Nissan can't make a transmission, there isn't one good British or Italian car, and German cars need to be scrapped when the warranty is up if you're clueless enough to buy one. Don't get me started on every single stellantis product
Is that also why the Chevrolet Tahoe, Chevy Silverado, and the Cadillac Escalade outsell the Sequoia, Tundra, and Lexus LX 2 to 1? Which segments do you think are making these cooperations more money? Toyota wishes they were in *gm’s* position as do most their competitors.
Looks nice but the Hyundai Tucson N kills all although this interior looks better esthetically, the Tucson takes it when it comes to innovation, tech/features, and performance. The Rav4 has reliability though. Hyundai/Kia has changed their key fobs several times in the last decade and I love it, meanwhile Ford/Lincoln, Nissan/Infiniti, Toyota/Lexus, Honda/Acura, Mazda, and GM haven't changed their fobs in decades.
i truly hope all the armchair mechanics hate the 1.5L so much that Chevy has difficulty selling these models so that I can get a sweet sweet deal on one of these!
@@aamitche1because lots of people who buy SUV’s need to tow. Some people who would buy them actually consider using them for more than grocery shopping, like possibly pulling a small camper. Having some towing capacity also speaks somewhat to the durability of the drivetrain of the car, even if you never tow with it.
