I love the new Santa Fe. I call it "The Santa Defender Sport."😂 The back rear dont bother me. G-Wagon has lower taillights, and I dont see anyone complaining about them.🤷🏾♂️ Also, Im seeing a lot of younger buyers getting the new Santa Fe. My 34 years old cousin just got one in black XRT trim. He's gotten a lot of street cred with his new Santa Fe. Anyone he encountered wants to ride in it. 😂
When you lock the Santa Fe, the gas cap cover also locks. Just checked it on the wife's 2025. The four dots on the steering wheel is Morse Code for the letter "H".
HYUNDAI DROPPED THE BALL! I really love my 2019 Santa Fe, I was just waiting for them to reveal the new generation for me to replace it. And what a disappointment. Don't get me wrong, I like the new gadgets and features but I wouldn't trade my old (but sleek-looking) truck for this box-shaped monstrosity. Specially from the back, it looks like a cheap utility truck from the 70's or 80's (a Nissan Vanette comes to mind). Two small moon roofs? when it already had a huge panoramic roof on the previous generation? Come on! By the way, after the exterior design, the panoramic roof was the 2nd most praised feature by my friends and family. The 4th generation won awards and of course it did, sometimes when I see mine parked next to similar sized "higher end" SUVs (BMW, Mercedes, etc.) it looks better, Hyundai really put much love into that design. Now they just want to follow the box-shaped trend. And that's sad.
I beg to differ on that. The last generation was too round, soft, and soccer mommish. The new Santa Fe looks more macho brawny and bold looking. Very LR Defender-esqe, which I love. The new Santa Fe is getting a lot of street cred. My 34 years old male cousin just bought one in black. He loves the boxy look. He didn't care for the last generation Santa Fe because he said it looks like something his mother will drive. And that says a lot coming from a 34 years old. That means the new Santa Fe is attracting younger buyers than the previous generation that you like.
