My only real gripe with the exterior is the hearse looking C pillar and the sliding door tracks still not integrated and hidden into the design like the Odyssey.
I think this will take a lot of sales from Toyota if Toyota continues to not have much inventory in Siennas and Kia can actually deliver enough hybrids. With kids, those giant TVS slammed next to the seats don't look like they will last long. I'd also spec the bench seat.
Must admit, being an owner of three previous models - Kia have always upped the game on the Carnival/Sedona/Carnival including this latest facelifted version. I like the light as is - not become a Christmas tree on the road😂. Not too obsessed with AWD my V6 is more than capable through gravel/muddy roads in my rural hometown, hybrid wouldn't work there either. Perfect family car 👌
Kinda disappointing in the lack of AWD and the hybrid powertrain is simply underwhelming. I was expecting a V6 engine paired with a decent size electric battery for at least 80 miles of autonomy.
Unless i'm not seeing it. I wish they would have done two things. Add a physical button/s for the radio instead of doing it via the screen. And also made an AWD option. Otherwise, gorgeous minivan. Love that bluish gray color with the satin door handles and mirror caps.
Man thank you so much! Ive been trying to find the Kia Carnival 2025. I love the form and the back. Except the fenders on the front. It looks weird. And the interior is too small I guess. Like i feel the 2024 Carnival was better
4:36 i definitely will look at the hybrid option as my 18 Durango will avg 24 mph on the highway. The v6, not worth purchaing... comparing to the 25 Sienna and they are a hybrid and i was able to get 45mpg avg in a rented 24... very happy with it.
Wtf is with the stupid fin thing behind the door. First thing I would just want it colour matched… why do all these minivan makers think they can disguise it with some gimmick, like that hideous Honda lightning bolt design
Bro not being happy with a front wheel drive has never heard of Canada or anywhere cold. Rear wheel is the worst for any kind of cold or wet weather if you like staying on the road
I am literally in the same situation. Everything about the Carnival is great with the exception of the lack of AWD option. I need it for the snow where I live. Now that this has a hybrid option it only lacks the AWD. I am going with a sienna as well.
If they can only have the AWD option. Living up in the northeastern region, it is a must for me. I went to my local Kia dealership and my wife and I loved it but the lack of AWD was a no. The sales associate even said he has lost lots of customers to the sienna being that they have the AWD option and it’s a V4 hybrid.
😅 greetings from oakville Ontario Canada the kia EV5 has been promised to Canada but not for the United States according to the carscoops website thanks for the presentation unfortunately I don't like minivans or multiple purpose vehicle or MPV
From 2022+ Kia Carnival General Discussion Forum : I just got the 2023 SX Prestige but there has been some rattling noise when I driver on the bumpy road/ uneven surfaced road. I have this also. Same (perceived) location. Can't really pinpoint location. May be in driver's door as it sometimes goes away if I open and close the door at a stop. I just got a new Kia carnival 2024 sx and am hearing the same rattling near the front side/seat belt column area on both drivers and passengers door. Yep. Same issue with me. It seems to only make the noise on the highway. But it is totally random. I’m having the same issue with my 2024 SX prestige. The noise seems to be from driver/sliding door on driver side. I have the 2024 Kia Carnival and I hear rattling noise when I drive over uneven roads/pavement coming from the rear of the vehicle. Got our 2023 SX Prestige last week and from the first mile itself, I could hear some clunking noise from the back when I go over bad patches of road/speed bumps. did anyone had same problem as mine... squeaking / creaking sound from dashboard when drive on uneven / bumpy road... Yes! Got our car on Oct 22, 2022. It’s an ex 2023. Today 10/27/2022 I started to notice. Creaking noise when I stop and go and on some slightly bumpy roads…. I don’t like it I have a kia carnival sx prestige, I have the creaking sound just whenever it wants to make the noise, I have replaced the struts and mounts, leftside lower control arm and the brakes and still the same sound, took it to kia and they charged me for 2 hours of trying to figure it out, 465.00 . I had someone tell me it sounds like 2 pieces of plastic scraping rubbing together and the noise sounds like under the driver's seat to him. I about to trade it for a dodge. I have a noise at random times on the highway. Sounds like it is coming from the lower part of the driver side door. Anyone find a fix for this, my 22 EX+ model is doing this, seems like plastic trim behind the dual screens in the noise source.
No, I hate those rims. Looks like it's been driven through a tar pit. I'm seriously considering buying a Carnival, but the dealer will have to put chrome rims on it. 👍
Exactly!!! Guess there are many who like the look of the black wheels but I’d have my brushed aluminum rims (maybe a BBS style mesh) delivered to the dealer. Or have it towed home with those until I had replacements. Wouldn’t be caught dead driving either those ugly wheels. :)
Auto manufacturers copy what styles are in at the moment, hence the thin headlights and taillights design. Also seems like boxy is the current flavor...
