The 2025 Mazda CX-70’s interior gets the upscale treatment the company is known for these days. Leather is standard, and we experienced the model’s burgundy and tan interiors, both with contrasting dark gray as a secondary color. Accents came in a perforated brushed aluminum and chrome, while much of the interior’s mostly inoffensive molded plastic panels are relegated to the lower parts of the cabin and cargo hold, mostly out of eyesight.
Dual 12.3-inch screens are standard, one for the driver and one for infotainment. Like the CX-50 and some other Mazdas, the center screen functions as a touchscreen with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto hooked up, both wirelessly compatible with the CX-70. Otherwise, you can use the SUV’s native Mazda Connect rotary dial. An Alexa assistant comes with every CX-70, as does technology like a trailer-hitch overhead-view camera and unresponsive-driver support, a system that can slow and stop the vehicle if it senses (via interior camera) the driver is, well, unresponsive.
