Ah yes, a postseason and the Tigers bullpen getting lit up. It's like it's the early 2010s again! (No, I'm still not over the David Ortiz slam in '13....) Nitpicky here, because overall it was a great video - but I kinda knew you were getting bounced early bc of the title and video length. Maybe for next time title the video "2025 ALDS," or if you plan on doing full postseason videos in one, do what other youtubers do and add an hour of a black screen. This makes it so the length of the video doesn't spoil what happens! Still, 102 wins and a solid young core means that these Tigers should easily make another run next season!!
This is a fair point and I'll try to do something like that in the future. But fwiw, I do have videos later in the sim with the same title that are not the entire postseason.
I've bought OOTP24 recently after playing OOTP21 for a very long time and made a save with the Tigers as well. I've been struggling (didn't dump any of the bad deals, still no playoffs in 5 seasons) but when I see how Malloy and Tork turned out in your sim compared to mine, it helps to understand. Jokes aside, I feel like this game is more difficult than 21, especially when my hitters never show up in April.
@@pfholden True. I wanted to trade Riley Greene because he only had one year until free agency. I managed to get back a young player with 80 potential and 50 current rating, but in order to do that, I had to sacrifice Jace Jung (who had 55/60 rating and is basically being replaced at 1B by the young guy I'm getting back) AND take on 2/3 of the last 3 years of Dansby Swanson (who is still a great defensive SS, to be fair), otherwise the best I could get was an average starter, mid prospects or elite relievers with not that much control. And for international talents, in 21, you were almost guaranteed a superstar if there was a talent with 80 potential, but in 24, many of the talents with high potential have at least one source of concern (low discipline for example) and many of them don't really develop
(the reason I wanted to trade Greene was because he wants a ton of money, I have the outfield depth to replace him and I was worried about his high strikeout rate)
