I agree! I think the narration suits him better than walking and talking the whole time. Funny to see that other people also watch multiple car review channels over multiple years.
@barsaf9989 Since you want to insert politics into this discussion, let's do that. Inflation was a WORLDWIDE situation after covid during the recovery. The USA exists in the world. Inflation increased prices for things worldwide, not just in the USA. There were multiple factors that caused Inflation. Then once the corporations discovered they could excessively raise prices and then blame it on Inflation, they did it, making it worse. The current administration took common steps to curb and lower inflation, to include raising interest rates. We have had Inflation before and we will have it again in the future. Do some research and educate yourself on how things work.
@@barsaf9989Neon gas is a necessary material in the production of chip fabrication for computers. The majority of that gas is produced and sold in Ukraine. The majority of chips fabrication occurs in Taiwan. That chip is then likely installed into a module somewhere in china before being shipped to the usa to be installed into your car. That is three separate countries where if the price of something goes up you feel it let alone all three at once because of globalization of supply chains. If at ANY point in this supply chain one of those countries is suffering from a situation that would increase prices you feel it because supply chains are global and that is just for one of hundreds of modules that go to building a vehicle. It's why most things you buy now say "Assembled in the USA with global materials". Because the thing being assembled is using parts from somewhere else. It is such a basic concept of economics that without watching the video you provided I have to assume there has been some misunderstanding because nobody with any sort of understanding of supply chains would assert that what happens globally doesn't affect them because supply chains are global.
So you’re telling me they can put speakers in the headrest and add heated and cooled seats but they couldn’t add power adjustment? 😂 Nissan keep doing you.
In a way it's a good thing. This 2025 Kicks is already dreadfully slow (0-60 of 11-12 seconds) and adding more weight with power seats will make it even slower!
@@johnkonde1975 adding power to at least the driver seat is not gona make a difference. If anything the headrest speakers are more useless to most people and I’m sure they would appreciate power adjustment instead
Unpopular opinion: I really don’t mind manual seats. They get into position quicker and something less to break. 🤷🏾♂️ would never be a deal breaker for me.
@@johnkonde1975, I respectfully beg to differ with your numbers. I just saw a video of this 2025 model being reviewed and driven by Alex of Alex On Autos/Auto Buyers Guide, and the 0-60 time is in the neighborhood of 8 seconds. Very believable, since the motor is now the 2.0 liter engine that is being used in the Sentra. The 1.6 liter motor is no longer being used in the 2025 Kicks. I had a Sentra, and 0-60 times in my old Sentra was indeed about 8 seconds. Yes, the 2024 model year Kicks is indeed dreadfully slow. On that point, I agree with you completely. However, the elimination of the 1.6 liter engine in favor of the 2.0 liter motor should make a noticeable difference in performance. Of course it's no race car, but it should have enough oomph to perform acceptably and decently in around town driving. I currently own a Altima with the 2.5 liter 4 cylinder, and has quite acceptable oomph and acceleration.
Well the components of the added RWD need to go somewhere in the cargo area and maybe they also place other stuff back there like the battery or in higher trims a subwoofer.
Good option for buying less expensive cars since the middle class mostly use it going to work or in town. Especially nowadays the price of new cars are ridiculously very expensive. And these cars are not an investment either - it loses value once you purchased it.
That's crazy depressing. I'm trying to get a car as a poor person but am realizing I can't afford a car working a minimum wage job.... Public transit sucks.
Nicely styled, but I still can't get a small american adult to fit in the back seat, just no knee room. Take four inches from the cargo area or it might as well be a two seater. Very disappointed
It’s a rogue sport with a new front and rear look brought back with the name of kicks this is why they stopped making the rogue sport they brought it back as the kicks
Saying the Kicks is still an "affordable" vehicle represents such a distorted perspective. Sure, it may be less expensive than other vehicles available in NA but >$40k for a B-segment vehicle from a mainstream manufacturer is rather outlandish.
Love the looks and ground clearance, but with the weight it’s just too slow. And rear legroom isn’t great. A Chevy Trax or Kia Soul are better options for comparable money.
call me old school but I am sensing a little bit of moving away from reviewer personality-infused videos and towards a more informational and straightforward style. more Alex on Autos than Throttle House...not that I'm hating on Brian. Maybe it's just HIS style.
All the carmakers are too greedy to make a basic bare bones new car for 15k. They all want to make these huge heavy cars with luxury features so they can make you pay over 30k!
The we you're referring to unfortunately makes up like 1% of the new car market if that... manufacturers would be happy to make what people are willing to buy
That’s Brian! A really nice dude and a great addition to the team! He does lots of great work on AutoTrader and pops in to do KBB reviews from time to time.
Good lord is it ugly, but I’m glad Nissan is still putting out affordable, practical cars. Would it have really increased the price to not make it an eyesore, though?
