Verdict: It’s a solid, feature-packed choice for A-to-B transportation, but driving enthusiasts might want to look elsewhere.
What's new for 2025? The Limited trim now has a sunroof, heated steering wheel, and driver-attention monitoring system as standard. But heads up-2025 is the Legacy's final year.
Pricing starts at $26,040 and goes up to $39,340. We recommend the midrange Sport trim for its balance of price and features, including the powerful 260-hp turbocharged engine.
The Sport trim adds 18-inch wheels, a power sunroof, LED fog lamps, a rear spoiler, blind-spot monitoring, keyless entry with push-button start, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, rear automated emergency braking, and stylish cloth upholstery with red stitching.
Under the hood, the standard engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 182 hp. The Sport and Touring XT models come with a 260-hp turbocharged 2.4-liter engine. All models feature all-wheel drive and a CVT.
In performance tests, the Touring XT hits 60 mph in 6.1 seconds, while the non-turbo Sport takes 8.0 seconds. The Sport with the turbo engine clocks in at 5.7 seconds.
So there you have it-the 2025 Subaru Legacy. Reliable and feature-packed, but not the most exciting drive. If you want a tech-savvy, all-wheel-drive sedan, this might be your car.
