As much as i like to own one, I'm still in love with my 2016 4runner trail with kdss. It's been a perfect vehicle for me in so many ways. I do find, though, that the land cruiser is still an expensive vehicle and really hasn't been out long to prove its reliability. Maybe one day, i might look into getting one, but for now, I'll keep the 4runner.
People are saying these are not selling, the price is too high. I've been going to dealer websites in my area for 4-5 weeks, the ones they have for sale are gone in a week or so, so they are selling. I'm holding back because the first model year is usually the worst for problems.
They need to redesign that hitch cover or give us the option to opt out on the hitch. The Prado has no cover and looks so clean. They need to add more color options. Current options are very boring. And an option for engine selection. Not everyone wants a hybrid.
Great video. Now here’s the REAL question: What is the pricing for the 2025 4Runners? I’m talking about the base models obviously, but especially the TRD Pro and Trailhunter trims. Land Cruiser 24-25 is Land Cruiser Prado, not a Land Cruiser. I said it man, I said it. Land Cruiser 80, 100, and 200 series is a Land Cruiser.
@@markc7274 It is a joke for sure. All that fancy tech sitting inside it, thin plastic with a tablet slapped on it with collision detection and other unnecessary things, literally bought the 5th gen instead. I mean what a lifted car this was.😂 The jerky drive and then the horn was also embarrassing.
The LC250 has more torque at ground and torque at ground : weight than 200 series, once you calculate through transmission, diff and stock tire size diameter. The only LC with (a lot) more torque is the LC300. Your 200 is only superior for luggage capacity, but it is otherwise obsolete to the 150 and 300, especially in power efficiency and suspension. However, yours sounds a lot better if it’s the v8 diesel. I’d suggest you sell and upgrade unless you need the size and sound.
Cant believe the amount of suckers buying this low quality of a vehicle. So many tech gimmicks on this thing thats so unnecessary and its literally a pavement cruiser now. Made me miss my 4runner tank after them trying to convince me to trade in my runner and saying the Land Cruiser is “bigger” 😂 absolutely no value on this land cruiser and they are seriously just riding the nameplate on this cheap vehicle😂
The Land Cruiser is somewhat overpriced, but you pay for what you get or not. Toyota will one day price themselves out of the market despite their strong reputation for reliability. Disappointed that Java brown leather seats are dictated by certain exterior colors. Why not let the customer select the interior colors, and open it up on all Toyotas, especially if it is a custom order!
