@@BulldogBadger oooh hello, I'll give this weeks award to Kat, she saved the day! Time for a lunch break and you video, buckle up for some comment spam.....
Fantastic sunrise especially with the air traffic whizzing past. You are bang on… adversity can’t be a great motivation. Too many people are happy to sit on their arse and expect things to be handed on a plate. 💪⛺️💯
Thank you Nigel, yes those planes definitely helped with the timelapse, sadly the guyline in frame was not intended to be there but it still looked ok, I really believe in the power of positivity and the law of attraction.. you get back you you give out on the most part.. if you surround yourself with negative people you and your life will be negative, but if you surround yourself with positive people their ideas and inspiration lifts you and your life becomes more positive… bad things will still happen for sure but you can still make the best of a bad situation.. thank you for watching and taking the time to comment I really appreciate it👍
Thanks Steve much appreciated! It felt good to get back up there and finish what I started, Brecon has got the better of me twice now and I was determined not to let it do me dirty three times lol
The power of positivity, absolutely! Most people are their own worst enemies, its not easy, it's 100% in your own hands...be the change you want to see ❤🥰
Mate, totally agree with the positive mind set and law of attraction, good on ya pal. Is this your 1st time with the thermarest? Such warm pads aren’t they, love em! Have a great weekend 🦡 Ash
Thanks Ash, I swear by the law of attraction it’s made a massive change to my life and continues to do more for me all the time, yes first time on the thermarest mate it was a total game changer.. cheers you too 🤘🍻
I watched it a few times in the edit but just watched it on the telly with the sound up in 4k and still thought WOW!! It was soooo windy up there you can see my drone being blown around 🤣 I was definitely rewarded for my perseverance
One extra dunk of the comment biscuit....fab video, absolutely flew past, amzing footage, editing and audio, boom 😊 thanks captain Badger, catch you soon, Ceri and Kat ☕ ❤ 🗺 🧭 👍
It was better than expected, And so welcome after a nice walk down the mountain, Yes I am also looking forward to seeing it from his perspective too.. its strange how one trip can often look so different! Thank you as always for your amazing comments, I really appreciate it 👏👏☕️☕️
Yes. Been waiting for this and you didn't disappoint. So glad you didn't get the upside down rain, nowt worse. Its like jumping in a pool without holding your nose 👃. Cracking sleep system.. Still traumatised with the tinned mackerel....no just no 🤣boh 🤢. But it was redeemed with the cherry lager. ...niiiiiice. Positive vibes....love it 🤩😍. What an incredible sunrise. Ya just can't beat it can you. And the drone footage was amazing. Fantastic 🥳🥳. And a beautiful morning to walk back to the car. 💗🥾
Haha frozen tinned fish is not the best! I just didnt want to cook and also couldnt get the noodles I usually get, the sleep system is great I hope to do a 2022 sleep system video this week as a filler video between now and my next camp. You can’t beat positivity and the law of attraction, It goes hand in hand with Karma too and I’m a huge advocate of that too. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment I really appreciate it 👍👏
The clag left and in came total clarity and the most majestic golden hour, Views like that and the sun on your face make for a huge feeling of euphoria I was totally blown away by it
Nice bit of frozen fish for tea, can't fault it haha What a sky to wake up to! Doesn't get better. Awesome drone footage as I've come to expect from you. Nice work
I just watched that scene on the telly in 4k, bearing in mind I spent a while watching it in the edit and I was still like WOW!! 😱😱 Thanks for watching and the kind words I always appreciates it 👏🍻
Those hillis were certainly camouflaged against the sand coloured hills. Great aerial shots... I need to get a drone! Sunrise was epic. Great message at the end too mate 👊🏽😎 ATB with the job Rob
Thank you Rob! that Sand seems to blend in well almost anywhere, a drone was the single best thing I bought for my channel to date.. it gets some great footage (I probably use too much) but its also great fun to fly too 🤣 thanks for taking the time to watch and comment I really appreciate it 👍
Good take on the previous putting and tent incident, what's that old saying....no point crying over ripped tents....or spilt milk 🥛 ⛺ good outlook Damien, enjoyed that! 👍🏕⛰🏴
Great camp that mate awesome kit, awesome scenery and awesome drone footage! Love the talk on positivity too and bang on how you got that job with your efforts. Just goes to show you put the work in hopefully it pays off 👍🏻👍🏻🏕🏕 Take it easy mate
Thanks Chris much appreciated as always mate! This is one of the only videos of mine where I watched it back and was like WOW that drone footage made me really happy, and the music was a perfect fit (imo), there was so much I could and should say about positivity its unreal but hopefully it was enough to plant the seed for people.. have an awesome weekend mate 👍🍻
@@BulldogBadger Yeah I agree with you there mate great choice of music to accompany it 👍🏻 Yeah should definitely plant a seed for sure mate.. thanks so much and hope you do too 😊😊 ATB.. Chris
Hi, loving the drone footage. Amazing views as always. Good to see LNT being highlighted, let’s keep our countryside & mountains clean and looking how it should. Glad to hear your working situation is moving in the right direction, all good 😊
Thank you Rachel, I like to always include a LNT message in each video, I kind of went against my own principles of not being seen on this one but to tick Pen y Fan off the list of summits camped on there is no quiet time even in terrible weather on a Monday morning it is busy before its even light, the work story was from 2 years ago I have been loving my job ever since and never looked back, thank you for watching and taking the time to comment I really appreciate it 👏
Hey Damian nice to see you and Dai again 👍 albeit only for a short time, we won’t leave it so long next time as we need to go on a camp together 😁 really enjoyed the video I think you had a bit of everything with the weather and greeted with an awesome sunrise, which was epic as was the drone footage 👍 so glad you got your tent fixed so you can enjoy some great times on the mountains. ATB The Peaks
The law of attraction and power of positivity is real! Think it, believe it and make it happen, will it to happen and express gratitude daily and it all comes 🤘😎
You and Dai are braver than me, that looked absolutely Baltic. But a good test of your new kit and nice to see the tent back to 100% and getting a weather test too. Epic drone shots and you’re right about the positivity mate. Good things come from it.
It goes hand in hand with Karma mate, I just watched the drone on the telly and was like 😱😱😱 It was a golden hour to be in awe of, definitely right time right place as I have spent many visits surrounded by fog in the past
Loving the drone footage Damien. Everytime I've camped on top I carried my drone up and never been able to get it out, always been windy as hell. Loving your positivity after the hilli disaster and glad to see it sorted and you back out. I know u get a few people at the summit, but I've really enjoyed wild camping on top. Plenty of room to find a spot. ATB Paul 👍
I had a few twitchy moments, the drone was getting battered but I managed to keep it in the air 🤣 I want to do all the peaks in the Beacons so it was nice to tick this one off during winter, I bet it’s crazy in summer.. thank you for watching and commenting 👍
@@BulldogBadger yea, we always feel a little in the way of we cross paths with any military out on the hills lol up to you frozen fish atm! Can hear Dai too 👋😀👍
Dam Where's the beard gone? Ha nice camp mate I've got the down booties and trousers I'm hopefully testing them out soon, glad you fixed your tent bud and them drone shots were nice u had the perfect weather in the morning for the sunrise, atb nick 👍👍👍
Haha the beard comes and goes depending on work, if I’m working from home I grow it, if I am working away or with a customer I shave it off, yea the weather was unreal in the morning mate, thank you! 🍻
Hello superb video, I have a DJI mavic mini. Not sure if this is the same but it’s incredible how good the footage these things produce. I want to do a camp on pen y fan soon.
Mine is the mini as well, I upscaled to 4k in the edit and added some colour correction, and it looks great.. I highly recommend it but be prepared for how busy it is up there lol.. We chose a freezing cold week day and still woke up surrounded 🤣
I went yesterday but had to abandon as the winds were horrific I think much worse than your video. I went up the path via storey arms your path looked an easier one. I’ll try again soon
@@DJVOutdoors I think it was storm Malik that night you were there then, that would be a bit wild, I think the route up from pont ar daf is slightly easier and also a greasy burger van there for breakfast 🤣🍔
Hi. Great video as always. I’m doing the horseshoe route with one night wild camp in early March. Do you know what water sources are up there once I’m up on the ridge? Thanks for any tips!
Hi Graham, there is water up there sometimes but usually it’s standing, there is running water lower down at a few points if you check on the OS but up on the ridge I haven’t come across anything useable yet
Let's start with the scintillating and mesmerising drone footage a moment of mindfulness. The sunrise was hypnotic and must be great in Summer. My next question is did I in anyway influence your decision to take your naturehike quilt to support you Corus? Only asking because I so nearly got caught out when I used my Thermarest Corus 20. I had the good sense to take an additional quilt based on a video review I had viewed. I look forward to your upcoming review. See you soon atb Taff 🤠👊
Hi Taff, thank you for your very kind comments I appreciate it as always! I always planned to have the Naturehike blanket and the down trousers and booties, meaning I can have a multi layered system that weighs less than 1100 grams, and also use the same kit for summer and just take less of it with me depending on conditions, means I have a year round solution.. or that is the plan anyway, still more testing to be done but it worked great on its first outing, the xtherm was a game changer for me thought that mat is unreal
@@BulldogBadger The last couple of nights whilst I'm off work with Covid I've been out the back testing a sleeping system which I may use in 2 weeks. I've ordered a small snugpak compression sack for my Corus rather than a stuff sack. Last night the temperature started at 4°C and increased to 8°C this morning so I had to undress further during the night. However, tonight is supposed to be colder. Cheers Taff 🤠👊
Hey badger !! Thought I’d come check you out, and this vid caught my attention away, I’m pretty new to wild camping just completed my 3rd camp last weekend, I’m definitely going to looking into some down pants and booties. On my first camp about about 8 weeks ago it dropped to minus 8, and although I was comfortable I think some pants and boots would make it even more comfortable!! Loved the Timelapse of the sunrise mate. Drone shots were awsome to mate, really enjoyed it, I’ve hit those buttons so I’ll catch you on the next one, and of course LNT, a message that needs hammering home … Always positive thinking mate, I’d have it no other way Cheers Alan team54 🥾⛰⛺️❤️
Hey Alan! Sorry mate I missed this comment and I always reply to them all, I will be sure to come check you out and subscribe.. thanks for taking the time to watch and comment I really do appreciate it 👏🍻

Thank you very much guys, means a lot to me coming from you! 👏😎🍻 When I started researching the Beacons it was your channel I binge watched for spots and tips etc, I really hope someone at some point looks at my videos in the same way for some inspiration 🦡
