20FT TALL Overgrown YARD! NOBODY Would MOW it for this SINGLE MOM, SO I DID FOR FREE!
I was driving around and noticed this Overgrown Lawn that was at least 15 to 20FT tall in spots so I knocked on the door to see if I could mow it for FREE. This Single Mom was so excited and thankful, she ended up in tears. You won't believe the thickness of this grass, I was mowing through brush, tree's, weeds, I have NEVER seen a yard so tall but so blessed on the transformation.
He was in a wheelchair and NOBODY would help him - • NOBODY would mow this ...

Greetings from the UK. I've been doing this type of work for over 30 years. Please, please, please, in future use eye protection when strimming. Even if to only set a good example to any inexperienced gardeners. Quicker to put on a visor or safety glasses than go to hospital. Man you just completely renovated that whole yard. The fact that you and your son was able to do this is completely shocking to find a shed, swing set. I didn't catch why her lawn got that bad. You always do a great job n your boy is learning alot from his Dad. I'm glad I am healthy at 71 n still mow my half acre every 2 weeks. I have put in beautiful gardens. I have had several people offer to help keep my yard mowed but as long as my health holds up I will be out there probably till I'm in my late 80's. Don’t get me wrong, it’s really great what you’re doing. For me personally though, I wouldn’t have touched that yard with anything less than my bush hog. That was more like a pasture than a yard. I will say though, definitely a testament to the mower you used! But I’m also the kind of person who would have walked every inch of that yard that was possible. I don’t have the best luck, and I assure you I would have hit something that damaged my bush hog lol!

Totally awesome Erik, what a huge help and relief for this woman! And the yard really needed the right equipment to come in and make it manageable again. It’s a ginormous lot. We never know what’s going on in a persons life and so many people are struggling just to get by, put food on the table and pay bills. Especially the last two plus years. Looks like my lower back yard. I am 70 yo disabled widow so I do the best I can. Use to do it all myself and enjoyed it. I understand the lady no having the money. Bless you for helping her.😊 love watching you and I opologize for not being able to become a patron

The smart thing to do is to do all your trimming first. This will help you find all the things that could possibly damage your equipment. This is helpful, especially in these kinds of yards, because you can't always see everything in the yard. By mowing first, you're "flying blind".
