I have these in 16 oz and I had to exchange one and grab a new pair cause they hurt my middle Knuckle and ripped my pinky skin off I saw another comment that said the same thing so if you guys are going to grab these just know you have to break them in for them to actually feel comfortable I return my first pair thinking that it was going to solve the problem, but it’s just the make of these gloves. They hurt your knuckles at first keep that in MIND!!!!!!
Do you use knuckle guards? In my experience, no matter what gloves I used, I had knuckle pain and couldn’t bear it any longer. So I got the winning knuckle guards and all my problems went away and I was still able to train while I was dealing with the injury.
Also I think just everyone’s hands are different. The pinky skin coming off was only a problem with me in Cletos Reyes gloves. I love the way my hands fit into the rival gloves tho
Thanks for the updated review Carlo! I'm looking for a new sparing glove that I can also use for training (bag work) in 14-16oz. Preference is smaller form factor. I'm tossing up between these Rivals, Phenom SG-210s (or 202s) and the MK1 Select Lace ups. Can you help me choose?
Hey man. Love your videos. Finally decided to copy you and make my own speedbag platform, as I already have a swivel and bag. Just curious, 3 years later is everything still holding up? Are the braces still doing their job? Anything I should do differently? Appreciate your content man!
Still doing great, no issues so far especially with the heat, I’m actually surprised the glue has held the board together for this long. Lol. But yeah, still nice and solid with no problems
Actually got a 16 oz pair of these custom made. They’re amazing and they nailed the design I asked for but it’s the only time I’m spending over 250 for a pair of gloves if I can help it. Hard to justify in my head paying more than 125 dollars per glove. I don’t care what the brand is.
Hey Carlo! I ordered the same pair of gloves and really like them so far, I was looking for sf h version but the didn’t have it in stock for a while so I just got hde f, had some issues with my wrist and knuckles, but that went away, although mine don’t have ventilated holes like yours and mine have a larger grip bar, is that normal or did I get scammed?😓
Yo I just commented the same thing I had to return my first pair because I had really bad knuckle bruising and rip my pinky skin off my second pair that exchanged it still hurt my knuckle I stuck with them and I had to break them in for these gloves to feel comfortable I have no issue anymore
Hey boss was wondering if you could try the HGL 10 Twins Headguard! the one with nose bar, it also has chin protection but im worried about its distance between forehead and nosebar
Hello, I will buy Everlast Elite 2. In the fighting equipment country, the number is 44.5-46. I wear 45 in normal shoes, it is 29 centimeters. Which number should I get?
The h feels softer so less protective(for you and your partner) for sparring but more feel for training if you’re using it as a dual purpose glove; need to break in this one more though
@@youssefezzine5473bag glove size doesn’t matter at all just depends what training you use them for you can use any oz on the bag 10 12 14 16 18 20 or even more just depends on the fighter and what they want out of the training session many fighters such as usyk beterbiev and many heavyweights use large gloves around 20oz even Tank Davis uses a 24oz pair from hitnmove glove oz has no correlation to how much someone knows about boxing
