I’m a proud owner of Rival boxing gloves, I own a pair of the RS1(4 years already) best sparring gloves I’ve used. I got my RS100 today navy 18oz I can’t wait to break it in on Monday. Great review btw.

I have a pair of both the RS1 2v and the RS100. Both in gold (RS1) and gold and white (RS100). I would agree with Carlos in that the finger pocket is deeper really let’s you sink your hand into the glove and make a good tight fist.

The thumb on the rs100 looks better, and the ultra 2.0 leather looks alot more snug on the foam or padding. I'm not a big fan of mesh, so I'd go with the ultra 2.0 although I liked the style of the lacing from the rs100 slot more.

Yeah the thumb looks better but to be honest the RS1 2.0 thumb doesnt feel bad at all, the looks are a bit deceiving.

Man, I got gifted a Necalli (US market)/ Casanova (Mexico market) for Christmas and boy I can’t wait to break it in. So far it’s a snug fit, not a wide pocket like I was led to believe.

Honestly i love the ergo lace system but i like the textured look plus thumb parallelism of the rs100 more, along with the mesh… i wish there couldve been a happy compromise. The ergo lace wrist section with the material and aesthetic of the rs100

Yep they are microfiber, looks like they changed the description online. Did the hand pocket on yours open up ? Just received the 16 oz and they are pretty tight especially compared to the RB11 X large , thats why I prefer leather

Looked for a par of RS1s for ages to try on in store & recently found them. Tried these two 16oz in in store & liked the rs1 better as well. A bit less stiff everywhere including foam out of the box & a bit more form fitting. Really fit my hand perfectly snug & just tight enough, a touch roomier inside than RS100, opened fingers pretty well actually considering a brand new glove (fingers would open fine for me after break in) but i tried on with handwraps which usually helps me open fingers. Rs1 is not really my style of glove, but I recon broken in they might be real nice.

I have fly x they are super comfortable. More comfortable than my winning. One thing is the synthetic leather feels kind of rubbery, very soft. It doesn't look like durable. Haven't tried them on heavy bag.

Ordered a sparring set, took 3 months, never received it. Had to bug the owner Angel multiple times for it, always an excuse. Asked for a refund, took him 2 weeks and more delays just to finally issue me a refund. Apparently a lot more people have been scammed by him and he even limits comments on his Instagram page. You can look it up, look at the comments, some people ordered back in October and still havent received gloves. Will say hes backed up and working on it, same excuse as before. Has no problem taking your money and then playing the excuse game after the fact.

csquaredboxing I had a similar experience with sabas, I had to bug the owner for the tracking info and he kept giving me excuses. After I was done going back and fourth, I asked for a refund and he got hostile and starting being a dickhead to me.

How much time did RS100 take to break in? I use them only for sparring and they are little stiff on the padding. The feel of RS 100 is great. When we put our hand inside the glove its so snug.! Love them. 👊

Takes a while to break in, several rounds on the bag because the foam is pretty stiff.

the synthetic leather is really durable and can be compared to high quality leather. It's really protective and comfortable as well from what i've heard, planning to order them.

Technology is so much better nowadays eventually it was gonna catch up with leatherbif not better I have bought top of the line synthetics like ,onx,elites, rivals, rs1, rs100, fly x , and I personally have had a better experience with synthetic then almost every leather out there outside of winning , even Mexican leather witch is very durable the paint dyes your wraps and sometimes comes off

@@dyws129a honestly I’mma huge rival fan bro onyx fits more custom like it’s meant for your hand cause you can mold the glove but rival are the most comfortable mass produced glove in the market from cheapest to the pro range gloves I would have to go with rival save a couple of dollars 👍

Cool! I’m considering both Onx x-factor and Rival rfx-guerrero bag and sparing gloves. Do you think Rival fit for small hands with good wrist and knuckle protection? You said Rival is more comfortable. Do you mean it is softer materials that makes you feel more comfortable? I have small hands with good power, that leads to often hand and knuckle injuries, so I’m searching for gloves that can provide the best protection with good comfort.

Thinking about getting either these gloves for boy. Currently use the SABAS bella series laced and before everlast powerlock laced. Looking for good gloves with great knuckle protection. Thank you for reply! Just by looking, RS1 seems to have a really wide and big inner space, I had a bad experience with cleto Reyes ones which also has a really big space. So I wonder does RS1 also have that problem or feels the same as other Rival gloves with small and snug feeling? :)

@@raylam1174 bro if you dont compete. dont think about winning. for 350 dollars you can buy almost 3 pair of rivals. 1 for bag 1 for sparring and 1 for professional fighting. Winning gloves are severely overpriced. think of it like a clothing brand. 1 t shirt cost 30 dollars in normal shop and 1 gucci t shirt cost 750 dollars. same material. same patent. just the brand adds value.
