I love this! This is a really cool interpretation of La Bayadere. I love the original choreography, and I'm not always a fan of contemporary versions of classical ballets but I think this performance retains the same effect. I think it still fits with the music too. The shades entrance always mesmerizes me, no matter which company, no matter which staging. Beautiful!

Thank you so much. One of my favorite pieces and to watch this choreography was hypnotic. I love it. And I am NEVER fond of "modern" interpretations of the great classics. This proved me wrong.

This is just so refreshing and oh so brave ! One thinks that the original Petipa cannot be challenged but this certainly comes very close in effectiveness. In fact I had to watch it twice ! Thank you for posting.
