Hit my goal time in this game + category!! What an incredible run as well; a lot of the harder missions that have some of the most difficult and/or RNG heavy things went incredibly well. During the day I grinded out attempts on my twitch stream where I close this time out, I got like 40-50 seconds worth of gold splits (fastest ever done segments) which was a massive improvement. Really happy with this run and definitely plan on returning back later, but for now I am super proud of this time and that I was able to close it out; hope you enjoy!
The Force Engine (TFE) is a patched version of Dark Forces which is fully functional on modern OS without the use of the emulator DosBox (which is the standard for the speedrunning community of this game). Has a number of QoL features like full mouse aim, Quick Save, a more in-depth rebinding system with modern implements of hardware, etc. This is clearly a labor of love for the developer, and they have made it clear they have a lot of really exciting things that will be added in as they continue to work on it.
