You can craft headgear by unlocking it in your tech tree. Not only from blueprints

You can learn and craft both head pieces and gliders on your own without schematics. Also under armor pieces can be bought from merchants for only 1k

One advanced tip i use is when i need ingots or stone or the blue shards i use rushoar ride him with his rush attack ramming into the boulder, each hit gets like 20 ore so 100 per boulder, and im on X2 gathering 💯

One extra tip: you can actually attack the black market guy and capture him, so he will be at your base constantly 🙂

Hot tip you can catch the black market dealers have them at your base and refresh there inventory by putting them away and getting them back out if you are looking to buy a certain pal just keep doing it to have that certain pal for sale

I'm sure this isn't intentional and will probably be patched, if it hasnt already. But if there are perishables in your inventory you can refresh the timer by simply clicking sort in the top right.

Appreciate the tips. I have some for you. The map is small and there are teleporters everywhere. It's super duper not worth losing out on a whole base and the resources it could produce just because you wanna be able to save 30 seconds of travel sometimes. It's possible to get 100% efficiency without the higher tech stuff. Put your fire incubators inside & still have fire around em. It's not true that you have to find a schematic to put something on your head. There are multiple headpieces you can just learn including the feathered one and the metal one.

It's still so crazy to me how fun this game is from a smal indie developer, I'm really rooting for this game and hope it gets the support it deserves. Can't wait to see what they do moving forward.

So i have probably found 1 of if not the best location to setup a base, in the bottom right corner of the map there is a small desert patch attached to the volcano! Now why might it be good you ask.... well this location has 3 major resources! 1 being ore. 2 being coal and the 3rd being sulfur all within 100m of eachother and it gives you a decent path to bahamut boss and the legend boss jetdragon or whayever his bame is. To add to it there is also a fishing village just a little south of it with a green clothed merchant who sells ammunition and another merchant who sells skills. Trust me its a gold mine.

Bonus bonus tip. The feeding bag will feed your pal team but if you are flying on your nitewing for example and it gets hungry, it will not eat while you are on it so you have to get off. And while it is hungry you can’t get back on until it is done eating

You got me nervous when you said merchant. I've been keeping a merchant in my party. trying to level him.

Is there a difference in base size allowances via pal storage? I feel like mine is 5 times smaller than this on xbox

11:35 We can unlock both head armor(common) and gliders, there are various of those in our technology menu like feathered/metal head armor and normal/mega glider.

Dungeon bosses can be rerolled without leaving the dungeon, you can just go to a different room and go back to the boss room if you're looking for a different boss. There's a sort of "Sneak" bonus if you crouch (and recall your pals) and throw a ball at a pal that hasn't seen you, you can capture bosses without fighting sometimes this way, just make sure you have a compatible ball for the level of the creature.

Lol I just started doing the Tele with new base last night. It's a growth way to "save" a zone without a fast travel to get back or to just go back home while ripping the base down.

You can hook the ground. No need to aim for trees or anything. If you inventory is full just grapple the ground. Then swap the grapple inventory position to reset the cooldown

9:04 Also, if you have a base that makes way more food than it could ever possibly eat. Then you could subsidize that food to another base. You don't need to have people growing in a place if you have all this extra food.

Just FYI: You can sort your Palbox by several different criteria. Element, level, Alpha, etc; on the top right corner of the Palbox display, there's a drop-down menu. I sort via Element, so if I ever need a fire/water/ice/whatever type, I just have to page over a bit to find them. Penking is a water type IIRC.

whats the headband you can get that stops headshot damage wouldn't that go on your head pretty sure its not just schematics for headgear think some is researchable but the quick sort option was super clutch to move stuff over thats already in that box.

Here's. Tip i figured out for very early game yesterday when i started a new char. As early as possible, identify a pal as your fighter, and then find the skill tree near 1st church waypoint around the plataeu of new beginnings. Toss one of the skills on your fighter pal and they will be incredibly strong until you lvl up more. On my lvl 30 char, all of the green skills have just been sitting in a chest, but they make a huge diff on pals who only have 1 or 2 skills.

What is the the palmon dot wanting to do the job cause not suitability not read due to cooling,I have no idea

One extra tip I have seen others mention: Digitoise is excellent for mining stone at the fixed point, but pretty terrible for mining ores, because they'll constantly spin themselves on top of it and literally starve themselves.

You can also grapple on the floor if there isn't anything, and usually it's better to grapple the floor when weight is full. Also you can learn glider schematic in techonology tab.

So you had me up until the headband part. Its actually in your tech tree. Same with every other base helm. Also you can reset the timer of any food by putting it inaide of a feed box or cooler or fridge by taking them out of the box and putting them into your inventory or vise versa.

The teleportation from anywhere tip made me feel so dumb for not realizing I could use it that way. I built a whole 2nd base for farming ore when I could've just used that 2nd pal box to jump back and forth to dump bags

Teach im playing this game too , taking a break from ark , can't say I'm not slightly disappointed in asa. I am having fun in palworld, so are both my sons!!!!

The quivern boss can be kited around the pillars in the room like you were saying in the video. I caught it at like lvl 15 when the boss is 23. You can keep running around yhe same pillar to avoid damage but if quivetn uses acid rain attack it will go through the pillar so you just run to the next pillar.

Does a decicated server do the same thing? My pal's always seem to be buggy when I log back in. My friend is hosting it on a 24/7 PC at his house.

Yeah i really wish they add a building, may be a lategame unlock, boss drop schematic or something, that let's you assign specific tasks to creatures so they do not constantly switch between tasks, especially doing tasks that another pal in your base might be better at, like smelting.

Some Overworld bosses have a chance to drop one of the equipment pieces legendary schematic, relatively rare, but if you catch and then butcher it gives 2x the chance at getting the drop.

do the g portal servers work for xbox game pass version of the game?

Earned with grapple and the carry a paldium around trick, that one is a life saver

So I found this out, if you have a scorching egg and are not a high enough level to keep it warm, if you incubate it in the desert biome (where it’s hotter) and add a heater to it, it will incubate at 100% 💙

I'm playing on a rented server but whenever I am out of my base, either online or offline my pals just stop entirely and just get sick, does anyone know if this is a setting I need to change on the server?

Another pro tip there's a drop down opinion in the top right were you can sort your items and you can do the same for your pals based off your preferences.

A good early game tip for some passive exp is cooking berries, i passively got like 20,000 berries and i just cook em when i go afk. Come back to a few thousand exp

i get a lot of my high levels from sitting afk while my dragon cooks berries. he has level 4 kindlin so its a bit of a slow xp grind glitch.. plus you can sell the berries for tons

You should consider the auto sort option. You wouldn’t have to look for your penking if you just auto sorted it. Just some advice.

There is metal/refined metal headgear in the tech tree you don't have to have schematics

When using the grapple to move. After grappling unequip and reequip. It resets the times autmatically so you dont have to wait 10 seconds

You can actually use the grappling hook on the ground as well.

You can hold multiple grapples if you don't like waiting for cool down lmao

Hello. Do you have a problem that pal not work when u not showing up on ur base? Even im online and im just leave for a hunt or raid then i noticed that my pal just freeze and afk. Im using gportal sever and sever setting on gportal. Please help

There is a mine in the red mountain with a permanent black market dealer on the west side

Uhm, to tip at 12:00, you can use a skillpoint to make a metalhelmet and gliders, you dont need schematics for that

you can get the hairband from tech but the schematics are always better then base unlocks.

My jormuntides keep glitching outside my base and I gotta cycle them through my box.

the game world progresses on rented servers even if nobody's online?

Sadly assigning pals to certain work locations only works with pals in my team, playing on xbox, also wondering if im the only one who fast travels to another base litterally for 10 seconds cause base #2 is a ore mine, but when i return to main base nearly every time one or more of my pals at base end up incompacitated or hurt for absolutely no good reason or you will find them stuck ontop of your lumber mine or your large shipping container with them starving to death and unable to save them selves witch is funny cause i have fallen thru the map on multiple occaisions playing normal mode as is but when ever i die from a glitch like falling thru the map it does not drop my gear as normal, like as if the game is built to detect when you got screwed over by a glitch and choses not to punish you ah but the pals are on there own i guess lmao, for a beta however its a decent game, forsure still needs work its crashed my xbox once but im pretty sure that was just my xbox getting to hot after running for 48hrs😂

Anyone know how to fox loss data on official? Dont have files some folks show they use to find file to use old save. Also anyone know fix for black loading screen. Created second character and got to lvl 17 for this loading issue now as well lol.

fyi: you can figh and capture humans (e.g. the black market dealers) and use them in your camp just like pals

Are you playing on Gamepass? Also your pal party won't eat from the bag if you are using them as a mount.

You can unlock regular tier headgear from the technology tree....

The head armor is in technologies. it's not schematic only, Its been there since launch

Monitoring Stand let’s you assign fixed tasks and restrict multi-talented pals to whichever tasks you want them to perform.

My two biggest challenges with this game so far, are dealing with raids, and dealing with the offline penalty and coming back to an horde of depressed and injured pals, when medicine is so expensive. I'm having to store pals in boxes before i log off to prevent that, i've also learned wooden defences are totally useless.

When we logged off for the night, all our pals in the base were injured or neglected the next day even though they had everything they need. So not sure why that's happening

You called them dinos, another called them pokemon like 5 times, i haven't heard "thralls" yet from any creators lol. Conan exiles doesn't get the love it deserves, and it's closer to how this game works than ark, despite them being almost identical!

You missed the trick where you can bring a wanted level into the boss arenas, have them shoot the boss, then instantly capture that boss with one sphere

Not super sure why you missed this but level 23 you unlock the metal helmet to craft and then at 46 you unlock the pal helmet recipe.

There’s a bug where every time you sort your inventory it resets food timers

I haven't gotten the F key to work yet. It always says there is nothing there. I think the F key should open a menu and let you pick the task.

If you breed a pal with stats buffed with pal souls can you move the buff to the baby?

Anyone else have issues with the grapple guns? Getting locked in the animation and nothing gets you out aside from relogging.... Very frustrating, if there is a fix please send help!!!
