Joseph San Pedro oh please, Have you been to Bali. I lived in Palawan for a year. I even called it the world’s best island on a video. But the reality is Palawan is not even 1/4 the beauty of Bali.
Bali has 3 things: Culture, Character, and Magic. I was there for 2 weeks only. Its the Art, the Architecture, that is flooding the streets and the scenery. Even the funerals are spectacles to behold.

We went to Siargao and Palawan last year and to tell you the truth, it was such a wonderful experience. These places looks and feels like heaven on earth. Both paradise are so beautiful. Words can't express how amaze I was when I saw these places. Pink sands, white sands, crystal clear water, very green environment, fresh air, clean surroundings, golden sun and cool breeze, we're definitely going back there, can't wait!!!!!!!
I've had a 20yr absence from Palawan and intend to return about the 10-11th of April after 10 days in Thailand. In my experience Koh Phi-Phi is nowhere near as fascinating as Palawan, but I much prefer Thai cuisine over pinoy.

Yes of course you could compare, there's differences in the atmosphere, color of the waters, people and food. Just like Ha Long Bay in Vietnam looks like Palawan in the Philippines but Palawan's water looks different than Ha long Bay in terms of clarity and color even the sky is different and also the activities that you could do in each places. Reality is there's always going to be pretty and prettier, nice and nicest.

(not best beaches) beach is only one criteria. and u have to consider also the culture, temples and food. which i believe that made bali, bangkok and ankor wat on the number one spot. michelle try reading. philippines only 6 million tourist every year. bangkok has 14 million making it top tourist destination alongside bali

OK here are the places I've travelled to and in order of my favourite: 1. Palawan 2. Kuala Lumpur 3. Phi Phi Islands 4. Singapore 5. Bali 6. Bangkok 7. Komodo Islands 8. Gili Islands I think Hong Islands, Langkawi, Boracay, Lombok should have been mentioned here too. I would like to add Redang and Perhentian Islands in Malaysia that are amazing Phuket and Bali used to be good but it's horrible now

Tubbataha Reef is a protected marine area. Diving is only allowed from April to June. Number of Visitors allowed is controlled and it is too expensive for average tourist.
Bohol is overrated. Cebu is crowded and nothing much unique to see for a westerner. Mayon Volcano is just sightseeing destination. Nothing to do much there.
Another User how is Bohol overrated, when aside from land sightseeing tours of mystical Chocolate hills, smallest monkey Tarsiers, biggest python in world, mangrove river cruise, etc., it also has Island hopping activities on virgin sandbars, dolphins watching, when lucky even whale sharks or whales might be seen. it also has snorkeling on healthy magnificent coral reefs system. there’s also nightlife, bars on beachfronts. Bohol is mini Boracay but Bohol offers many activities. while Cebu has many magnificent waterfalls & Oslob whale shark swimming. yes, it could be crowded on peak seasons, but what tourist spot is not crowded. just fyi.
The best place to visit is Siargao in Philippines, I can say it is totally paradise and the best place to stay and relax. Soon I will visit that place again.
Every southeast Asian country is unique 😍, but only in the Philippines you can find hispanic influences 😌☺️ so if you’re from South America, you can totally relate. Philippines may not be the likes of vietnam, thailand and Indonesia that is very rich in culture, but the fact that american, spanish, chinese, japanese has once landed in the islands, it makes the philippines the melting pot of different cultures. We are basically the friendliest neighbor in town, the loudest as well 😅. Come visit our beautiful beaches and experience the hospitality of the Filipino people ❤️
We have similarities from countries you mentioned actually. We have asian and hispanic culture which is unique to the region. Btw, vietnam, laos, cambodia has french influence on them.
I visited Angkor Wat temple, Siem Reap of Cambodia 🇰🇭 two years ago it's a really natural. I can see beautiful temple in forest so nice. I love fresh air in forest and oldest city in forest.

I am a Filipino but haven't been to the beaches mentioned here. Been to Cebu the the City itself has so much to offer from foods to waterfalls and of course the well preserved beaches. I would recommend Kalanggaman Island, its like a paradise away from the city. Will visit all the beaches soon once I get home. Base in Malaysia ❤.

What makes Bali differ from others is that Bali is a complete package, it's not just some beach and scenery, in Bali anyone could surfing-diving-sun bathing (various beach), hiking (mount batur), strolling in the paddy field (tegalalang), enjoying countles waterfal, visiting forest with exotic animals and the best part is experiencing culture-music-food of the locals (Balinese Culture), all available in one island...if anything perhaps only Hawai could compare with it

My experience while visiting several countries in Southeast Asia (2016 - 2017) THAILAND: It's fun, because there are so many attractions there. Even food and drinks in Thailand can be said to be familiar such as Tom Yum Goong, Tom Kha Gai, Pad Thai and Gae Daeng. Thailand is a popular tourist place. MALAYSIA : I visited Kuala Lumpur, Twins Tower Petronas, Langkawi, Batu Caves, Penang Hill, Genting Highland and LegoLand Malaysia. I can conclude that Malaysia is interesting and even good. I can say that Malaysia is also visited by many tourists. PHILIPPINES: With many islands more than 7000 I visited Boracay, Rizal Park, Mactan Island, Manila Ocean Park, Mount Taal, Mount Apo and Cebu. The beaches in the Philippines are beautiful with calm waters and beautiful views. The Philippines also has great food and drink. SINGAPORE : When I was here some interesting things were found, namely you can cross the ocean to one of the regions in Indonesia. Most tourist attractions in Singapore are man-made, so it is more towards the economy and business. INDONESIA : At first I did not know about Indonesia, but eventually I became interested in reading a natural history phenomenon in Indonesia. As always Philippines is underrated, but I guess coz your limited list of Top21, try increasing it to Top100, when there’s so much more and many to discover in South East Asia. I have been to all of ASEAN countries, except for Brunei. I really regret not going to Brunei. I was after all in Borneo then. Southeast Asia is so great.
