Congrats to these financial institutions but we have much work ahead of us. If all of our Black celebrities and sports athletes put just 1% of their net-worth into these institutions, we could do a whole lot more for our people. Great video!
"African American spending power is over 1 trillion per year." Meanwhile, The American Government takes in 3.3 trillion dollars per year.. For 100+ years. You really think they'll cry about 1 trillion? That's couch change to these people..
They should open extent more African banks in the whole of Africa so that our people most especially so called Leaders can put their stolen money their so that if they die the money will still remain in the hands of African banks.
Thank you so much for another excellent video with information that is pertinent for OUR Community!!!!! You are definitely filling a gap, as it pertains to positive information for the Black Community!!
@@eclatinternational.875 south Africa is still colonised by white and I blame the black americans for it cos you allow the white to lie to you guys about african but the run to africa to invest. Come to west africa your root
What would happen if Black churches, especially mega-churches put their money in Black banks? Our communities would be a lot different than they are now.
I have the plan, soon you'll hear about me. and what I'm doing to build our communities. I will be on the list of the top 100 richest black men in this country. by 2023.

@#1 Ownership is over 50%, so for the history of this country coming from the socially constructed place of the only reason the terms "black/white" were implemented in the first place, was so a "bank" would quickly know who to do business with and who not, and who could own property and who not, being at 50 anything is an extraordinary feat, and that's better than less than 10%, which is the range they typically try to box in at or being completely shut out at 0..and 50% can still increase once the right 2 or 3 strategically savvy business people start getting in the right room
One move that'll really enhance commerce in the black community is a totall change in attitude towards the use of financial power acquired by focusing more on how banks can encourage and enable recycling funds in the black community through commerce and investment.
I'm more of a Credit Union gal so hope we can see more Black owned Credit Unions established. There are a number of credit unions that serve the black community here in St Louis but it's not Ran by a Black CEO which is sad. Hoping for change.
Black Excellist Excellence that would be great once you come across some🙂. I've looked also and it's slim to none. I only bank with credit unions because they are non for profit. Still and all this was a uplifting video as are all the ones you share. Thanks for the continuous Positive spot light on our community 😍💗
Black Excellist Excellence why don't women like me with extensive mortgage business skills get recruited by black banks. I am always making the white mangers of the branches more profitable but no promotion. Amazing!
I was just asking my friend how to open a bank - she thought I meant open a bank account, no, I mean open my own bank. It is possible - think big, do business big. I am trying to invest more in black owned business but I live in UK and very few around. We do have Metro bank in UK and I do have an account with them but it is used as a back up savings - now I will save more money there and I will go and find about investment banking but one day I want to own my own bank with many branches all over the world.
Some of these banks have been opened for decades and I never knew they exist. It’s so terrible that we aren’t told about this. I will be showing this to my youngest daughter.
Thank you for the content you share! It's very encouraging to see black entrepreneurs, enterprises, and communities! Please keep sharing your content! :)
Black Excellence Excellist I was in a bot bank to make a money order for $50,000 and they would not let me use the bathroom I had to go across the road to McDonald’s then come and have them do a cashiers check for me so that tells you at least how much I had in the bank and I had to use the bathroom next-door at Wells Fargo I think I need a new home for my money
I want to get my nephew a CD for high school graduation from a Black-owned bank. Are there any with a $100 minimum deposit? My bank - One United - is awesome, but has a $500 minimum for a CD (I love my nephew but...) Fingers crossed...
They have been targeting us and dividing our spending power among themselves. But as we refocus--may we not forget the poor, under-privileged, those unjustly in prisons--Let's think of all our communities! And God will bless us!
Subbed Immediately. Love Great Wealth myself, and Pride in My People who are Successful minded especially in this time. VITAL. I'm sure they'll have decent rates accommodating for Our OWN. I'll see. Much Appreciated!!
I love this channel. I love educating myself about my ppl. I know we are a powerful force to be reckoned with. I'm taking all steps necessary for our forward movement.
@@BlackExcellist my family has all kind of races, and we never stop loving and caring for each other. That's how God is, he doesn't care about our race, color, origin, language... etc Why should we do it? Black, white, red, brown, yellow color shouldn't matter. What matters is love, and respect one another. Love will cover infinite sins. I will bank at any bank where I feel respected and cared for. So I will gladly try on one of the banks you named. I worked at several banks in the past, so I know most of the bank protocols. I descend from all kind of races, and my particular race is one that God loves; tutifruti. I bless you and declare the love of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ in our lives. Mathew 6:19-21 Do not store up for yourself treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break and steal. But store up for yourselves threasures in heaven, where moths and vermin will not destroy, and where thieves no not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. This bible verse is for you and for me as well. May the Lord our Father God almighty bless you!!!
Sadly, City National Bank of New Jersey has closed and been purchased by Industrial Bank of Washington DC. Which happens to be a minority bank but was not in this video.
I appreciate the work you all put out sooo much!! I already dropped 5k in liberty bank during the #bankblack movement. Im ready to transfer more money to another black owned bank. After I do that I’m going to try and get one more person to transfer they’re money. Hopefully the cycle continues
Thank you so much for this and many other video. I am praying that our black people is wide awake now after all that has happen these pass several month and come together instead of killing each other and decreasing out population of people and support each other and put our money back into what we struggled to accomplish through out these years! Stop being crabs in a barrel and pulling each other down and LET'S SOAR LIKE EAGLES!🙏💞
I'm loving this idea one in a million to God be the glory great things he has done for those who believeth in him amen praise the lord believe only God is God the only God the invisible God amen more love from the heart
I counted 20... I perhaps missed one. Anyways watch the entire video for more in-depth contact/phone/website information. Or if you're looking to see their investment model and dig deeper into their financials (balance sheet, cash flow, and income statement) to see which of these banks would be a good value investment for micro and/or small cap stock picks, I list them by the order in which they were first presented. Best, -Guy 1. alamerica bank 2. broadway federal bank 3. carver federal savings bank / carver state bank 4. citizens savings bank and trust 5. citizens trust bank 6. city national bank 7. columbia savings and loan association 8. commonwealth national bank 9. first independence bank 10. harbor bank of maryland 11. illinois service federal bank 12. industrial bank 13. liberty bank 14. mechanics & farmers bank 15. metro bank 16. one united bank (internet bank) 17. south carolina community bank 18. tri-state bank of memphis 19. united bank of philadelphia 20. united national bank of houston
Hi Guy, I myself said the same thing about the count and so I pulled the video back up and I believe Unity National Bank is one that was not listed on the count down. Thanks for listing them all in numbers now I can copy and paste them in a list for my info (smile). I sure wished there was one of these banks where I lived, maybe one day they will be in all states. Have bless one!
THIS IS WHAT WE SHOULD BE DOING !!!! after the protest is over , move your money to Black owned bank. This will strengthen our communities more than you know. # move da money
I am starting a campaign to inform all Black people to move ALL their assets to Black owned institutions. Join me in publicize ing the # move da money campaign.
Let's share this channel with as many people as possible. One million+ subscribers and views will go a long way in supporting the owner of this channel.
Unfortunately , during the 2008 depression/recession carver in ny was bought by goldman , thusly it has only 2% "black ownership" We must Research In depth because like hoodstores that keep original names they May Not be Wholly black owned ! That being said , I do have aBlack account 😀. Andconsidering opening one in each of these 100% Black owned ones!
absolutely. Do the in-depth research on these institutions to see if they are really black owned and how do they invest in the black communities they are in.
Carver in (H)arlem still spends think $.87 per dollar there ! Shomberg Center update etc.! But. like the apollo or bet they can't flip the script to quick!
If you want answers. If our people are looking for a way to change our position we Must. We Must pull our money out and put it in a Black Bank. How many NFL/NBA players have their funds in a Black Bank? Stop kneeling and start walking your money to a Black bank. It's not to hurt anyone it's is too help us fund and support our own projects.
The world is a crazy place but I will start with a small amount because everyone been passing around Black banks but I read the reviews and they are HORRIBLE! Tell you something, I got the rush card to help black owned and I had no money way out in a area my check was supposed to be on my card by 2pm came 6pm and I had no money to get gas to go home, I had to call someone to come way out and get me. Every since I don’t make it about color cause color could have gotten me lynched in the others neighborhoods. But I don’t give up I am just more aware.
I am just finding your channel here today. I am proud to know there are black owned banks serving their communities..l had no idea there were so many. Thank you from the soul of my heart for being here and keeping us informed.
thank you, I will be banking with someone that care about me. I did not know about all of these bank that proudly serve our community. Please help the lost in our generation. Thank You
