Great video; keep in mind in France what we call the first floor is actually the Rez de Chaussee, the premier etage will be actually the second floor up from the street level; deuxieme etage is the third floor for us, etc...

parking lot or parking garage in American English. Thanks so much for this. I'm trying to wrap my head around French hotel rooms. Could you say if it is typical to have only rooms for 2 people. Many times we want rooms for four. Is that difficult in France to get a room for four?

Someone stated this before: We need some real conversation. I know a string of sentences but would not be able to carry on a conversation. Just think of some real back and forth and see how quickly you are going to run out of something to say. Just imagine you are running into somebody, how would you say I have not seen you in a while, where have you been, what have you been doing, how are your children doing in school, when is your oldest graduating ? Are you able to come up with these simple sentences and would you understand the responses ?

Hi Leo! Great idea, I will see what I can do! 😊 In the meantime, check out some of the more recent videos I have on my page. There are conversations like this one - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PzXWJvu9enI.html and listening exercises to help build these small conversations.
