I'd throw in Dengar's too. Healing whenever his unqiue proqs (is crit, evaded, or debuffed) sounds cool till you remember he spends nearly the entire match in stealth and is fairly durable on his own to avoid a stray AoE
This guy really cracks himself up! Joking aside, I probably have at least half of these, at one point zeta mats were so plentiful it was easy to upgrade some of these abilities and then go "oops oh well"
13:26 Well, buff dispels don’t require any potency at all, so they will always remove all buffs (but some buff dispels can be evaded). On a completely different note, I hope Jabba gets a zeta upgrade on his Large Character ability, making him even fatter
Cool idea for a vid. I knew I wanted to watch it partly for love of the game. Laughing with you on some of these! By now I have more Zetas than I wanted for my core roster - - and continue to consider some of these undergrads, though I know they won't do much! haha
I disagree with the HK one. Having 25% extra damage on his aoe as inital burst is amazing and he already does wonders with it. Not the best againist GL but it does destroy whole teams its used againist. Definitely not bottom 25 material imo.
A handful of these zetas are just artifacts of the game's history at this point, but so many of them could be easily reworked and reworded to make them relevant in today's meta. Take K2 for example. Something like "K2 gains 2% max protection per relic amplifier level each time he is hit. The first time K2 falls below 100% health (or maybe even would be defeated), he regains 100% protection." Now you achieve that idea of a tank that only gets tougher to kill the more you hit him. Just takes a little design creativity and effort. Two things that CG can never do at the same time.
I had an argument with a guy in my guild about imperial troopers. He was adamant that death trooper should either be used with moff gideon lead or krennic. I tried to open his eyes to the wonders of veers lead with piett and dark trooper but he wasnt having any of it. He wont talk to me now lol. He also definitrly did not appreciate my suggestion of death trooper on an iden team either
I got the Moff Gideon leader zeta at the very beginning bc I sounded kinda broken but then I found out that it doesn't even matter at all bc they suck so bad they just die. Iden has been way better but it still trips people up in GACs and it always takes more than 1 battle on defense. I think the stormtrooper zeta would be a must with it but still wouldn't make it that much better to warrant those 2 Zetas.
In defense of Magnagaurd: Having B2 on the GG team does help dispel buffs to potentially let you use the Magna zeta. That being said I will never apply it. Not worth.
Bro that clone wars Chewbacca zeta is amazing. That’s why my top player in my guild has it. He’s got Sith Eternal then a relic 6 clone wars Chewbacca with the zeta. He slayin people in carbonite 3 with that thing
Krennic and Death Trooper's zetas are good especially if you do a SEE rush. They counter Bossk pretty well in 3v3 and there's a way to counter omi QGJ in 5v5. You and Calvin Awesome bashing on one of my favorite characters. LOL.
I wonder if people see a novel typed out on the zeta are like, “if this has that many words it must amazing” or “ that’s a lot of words, too bad I’m reading um”
Good to know... 🤔 On a side note, just imagine: If they added Pong Krell, and they add it where he has anti-Clone Trooper abilities (whether it's allies or enemies)... 😏
Doesn't B1 remove all buffs and conditions with his AOE? And he's always modded for potency, so Magnaguard would always be stunning the opponent due to them having no buffs. I wouldn't know as i've not applied it either lol.... but that's because i'm lacking zeta's and the team pulls it weight regardless of this zeta. Just a thought.
I think it's B2, but Magnaguard would still need to be modded for Potency to land the stun. It's doable. Mainly mod him for health and protection, then grab some Potency in the secondaries if your mod game is strong.
