This is terrible advice. We are smart with our money (don’t buy a lot of junk, but rather experiences) and teach kids who come into our care how to practice with money. And yes, we treat them like how we would want to be treated if we were in their shoes. We don’t buy fancy name brand things because we don’t buy those things for ourselves. Money will come and go, but you only get one childhood.

Yes 😆 it was a fun way to connect with a lot of the youth we had that summer for respite, but definitely don’t recommend ranch flavored ice cream 😆

😆 I’m so glad we got it though, because it was a good/funny way to connect with a lot of the respite youth we had last summer … but yeah, never buying ranch ice cream again 🤪
