Well, Chris Broussard put it like this: Lebron dominated the Eastern conference for years going to eight straight nba finals. Jordan did that to the ENTIRE LEAGUE for most of the 1990s! That's domination! It's conventional wisdom that Jordan is the GOAT. Don't ever feel like you have to defend that opinion. If someone says Lebron is the GOAT, it's on THEM to defend that position.

You must not compare anybody to MJ, or talk about who is the greatest. Like the man himself said in an interview, you do injustice to the great players who played before him like Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Magic, Bird and Kareem. It all comes down to how you see each of them and the legacy they leave behind. MJ owns a NBA club and he continues to be involved with NBA while others have moved on with their lives so they more or less are out of the picture. The question of who the GOAT is only raised in USA, Globally people know MJ not Le Bron or Wilt. So stop that nonsense debate, there was, is and will be only one GOAT and that's MJ.

The NBA gave 5 MVP awards to Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley, and Karl Malone that should have gone to Jordan and they did it out of pity. They could not beat him and they could not stop him. His numbers for those seasons were far better and that included him leading the Bulls to the Championship. He was without a doubt the MVP of the league but let's change things up because Jordan dominating the NBA like no one since the early days of Wilt Chamberlin might make some fans claim that it was "unfair". It was not unfair. He was the best player in the world, he dominated the league against tougher competition than LeBron has ever faced and he is the G.O.A.T. LeBron does not look to be better, he looks to jump to another team that has better players and then takes the credit.

And the opponent was allowed to put his hand on the player in that era. Many of the fouls that are called today were not fouls in that era. The home fans stood behind the backboard, heckled and waved colorful objects to distract the player at the freethrow line. That is not permitted now. See the obstacles that Jordan had that the current contenders don't have.

The stats the records the two in a row three-peats... along with the Defying Gravity in his moves and how long he can stay in the air... I could go on but it gets redundant there is no debate. Air Jordan, MJ, His Airness... no one before or after will ever accomplish what he has specially impacted the game and would be noticed anywhere on planet Earth... I mean you don't see people standing around the block in line when the new LeBron shoes come out, but everyone to this day most definitely wants those Jordans

its so obvious. its this generation though. they dont recognize or want to recognize anything previous. There has been tons of videos on youtube for a long time and actual games of jordan. All stats and championships and being "art in motion" with a killer mentality.

TBH, MJ is no longer the face of the NBA so overall they’re trying to focus on active players but it’s hard when everybody has been winning and no one is dominating it’s called a narrative and business they are only promoting to make money aka so the world can still watch the NBA as if MJ never left

So averaging 40pts a game is better than 30ish pts almost triple double and lead both teams in all 5 major categories? My problem aint about mj. My problem is the competition around mj. How to say this. He nv won in 1980s bcoz the 80s got some stacked team like Boston Lakers and Detroit. In the 1990s there werent any stacked team like that. Magic got old and that team got some injuries here and there..same with Detroit. Im not taking anything away from it but losing a Kareem to retirement is huge. And yea mj beat them somehow. But then again 92 finals was just Drexler and a bunch of g leaguer. 93 Phoenix was a Barkley and a bunch of g leaguer. Tell me when was the last time a player scored 50 and lost the game in the 90s? Booker got 70 in his 2nd year and he lost that game. He scored 70 against the top 5 defensive team Boston. Kobe scored 81 against the no defense Toronto and won. Wilt scored 100 and won. Mj scored 69 and won. Lebron scored 61 and won. Beal scored 51 and lose..he scored 57 i think the next day and he still lose. Explain it to me how tf Booker aint an allstar after all that? Or the 30ppg Beal aint even an allstar this year or making 3rd team all nba? Just for ur info this year we have Kyrie Steph Klay sidelined due to injuries. There were only 4 players who scored multiple 50ish pts in a single playoff series. Mj was one of em against Cleveland and he won in 5 i think? AI was the 2nd player to do that in 2001 against Toronto and he won in 6. The next 2 players were Murray and Mitchell in the same playoff series. Murray won and Mitchell lost. And that series could go to either team. Its all going down until the last second of game 7. If Conley made that last 3s..Mitchell won and Murray lost. This is the type of competition that Lebron had to deal with. Im laughing so hard at all of mj highlights bcoz theres almost no defense whatsoever. They just let mj go through them. No one is chasing mj bcoz they cant..they are all too slow. Mj was a prolific scorer and a great wing defender id give u that but scoring aint everything. He got this godly jumper for sure but he aint as versatile as Lebron offensively. Lebron is more versatile in scoring. Layups, drive and dunk, mid range jumper, 3p and deep 3 shots. And Lebron is a better passer and rebounder too. More clutch than mj too. A more versatile defender since he can guard 1 to 5 and switch on anyone. Mj cant even guard magic..he needed pippen to guard magic. Mj was great but mostly bcoz he played against tons of unathletic players that were also lacking alot of basketball fundamentals. They dont even know how to dribble, how to block, how to screen, when to hands up and when to hands down and many more stuff.

Only one flaw in your essay , Defence against Lebron😂😂😂😂I’m guessing you never watch games . Did you see the 2020 playoffs and finals . Dude , I’d delete that essay , that’s embarrassing.

@@damo5350 defence against Lebron? The guys who guarding him were pretty much a 6"7 to 7 footers with athleticism and length. Who was guarding mj? Undersized and unathletic Stockton? How many times they tried to trapped Lebron? Did it work? It wont work bcoz Lebron got that godly passing ability. U think guys like Butler Iggy Grant are all just casual defenders to u huh? Did u even watch the 90s? Some college kids today would embarassed the 90s players. Stop commenting stuff based on ur biased opinions and go watch real basketball games. Stop embarassing urself

@@artiekusumawidya2545 wow your pretty delusional if you think today’s game isn’t weakass, players in the strong era drove the lane , not shoot a 1000 3,s a game . Seriously your biased crap is verbal diarrhoea. I’m 46 and still play today , why do I still play , it’s because today’s players aren’t that good and players like me can just bully our way in and dominate.

@@damo5350 lmao players today shoot that much bcoz they can shoot. Drove to the lane? No wonder there were guys with 4blocks per game in the weak ass 90s. Undersized unathletic plumbers who cant shoot..the only thing they got was layups. Drove to the lane? Thats ez af..those are junior high school drills. Thats the only thing they got. And when a guy like mj that has a good jumper..they suddenly cant defend that. No adjustments whatsoever. Didnt put those 7 footers to contest mj mid range..why? Bcoz those so great bigs got slow as a mule feet. Look at how AD defended Butler mid range. Look at Giannis defensive area. U 46? Even if u are in ur prime 25ish u wont be able to compete with today high schooler. Im delusional? I guess Zeke and Magic are also delusional then. Go search their comments about the 90s and the current era u old fool

@@artiekusumawidya2545 why are the young people of today considered the dumbest there can be , you do know you can write all the verbal diarrhoea you want , you’ll always be a minority in this debate . They say you can’t reason with idiots and yep , your an idiot . FYI Lebrons % for 3,s isn’t that much better than MJ,s , and well even you know that his not as clutch as MJ , plus he doesn’t like to drive the lane in clutch moments because he can’t hit his free throws down the stretch. That’s fact . Remember your just a minority.
