@@naveenreddyadmala3669 Dude if we assume that Lebron is more athletic, that would make MJ even better than him because MJ has accomplished a lot despite being less athletic.
Jordan may very well be the goat/better player. I am a person who is really neutral on that topic. I would say that just because Jordan’s opponents in the finals won a lot of regular season games doesn’t make them just as competitive as the teams Lebron’s teams lost to. I feel like no team could ever beat the warriors teams with KD on them. Period. They are the goat juggernauts and they are weak for teaming up like that but no team is touching them in any era. So if the bulls would have had a chance to beat them and did, I would feel this way about Jordan, but I know they’d get punished like Everyone else who’d try to take on the 2 best shooters ever and the best 7 footer-ish ever in KD. And yes, he may be 6’11” but he is not 6’9” lol.

Nick McMurray if you’ve looked into anything about Wilt’s time you would know it was obvious that Russell was a better player. Coaches, analyst, and other players from that time say the same thing. Wilt isn’t even top 5
Lightnin I don’t really think it’s that obvious or simple. Russell was an incredible player and you could argue he was the most unselfish, most team oriented player of all time. And also the greatest rebounder and defender of all time. But Wilt just dominated too much for me not to consider him better. The fact is Russell played with better teammates and Wilt still took the Celtics to elimination games on multiple occasions. Wilt was a far better scorer, lead the league in rebounds more, played almost as good of defense, and even lead the league in assists one season, something no Center had ever done. And I believe that season the Sixers won 68 games, so it’s not like he was just doing it to stat pad, it actually lead to a really good winning record. Wilt holds more statistical records than anyone in history, while being a 2 time champion, a 4 time MVP, a Finals MVP, a 7 time scoring champion, ASG MVP, and won one of his MVPs as a rookie. Don’t mistake me for disrespecting Russell because I’m not. He’s the GOAT defender and was the most unselfish player in history. But Wilt was just different
And plays in a league where you can’t touch anyone. 65% of MJ’s career was during a time you could body check someone and not even a get a flagrant foul. MJ had every single tool. Jordan has more amazing highlights just during random games no one remembers like 2.3.90 against the Spurs and Robinson.
shit tim donaghy would beg to differ quote “I was in Philadelphia and I am refereeing Sixers-Bulls. They were cracking down on the spin move that they wanted the officials to call traveling. Michael Jordan makes the spin move, I make the call. Phil Jackson comes off the bench and he starts giving me sh*t. I say, 'wait a second, Phil. You know as well as I do that's the spin move they're telling us to call.' And he said, 'while they might want that play called, they certainly don't want it called on him', and he pointed at Jordan who just walked by and stared at me. I got in the locker room, the other referee said, 'they want that call but don't want to on him.”
@@yosnags8447Ummm… I was a teenager in the 90’s and I’m incredibly bored watching basketball now. However, I can say this irrefutable statement: BOTH MJ and LBJ get calls in favour of them. I wouldn’t be harping on that point as I see LBJ get all calls his way. You know he ISN’T getting a normal call his way when he’s screaming at a ref throwing a HUGE princess fit.
Are you kidding? MJ invented the legal travel. and had weak guards facing him in big games - mostly 1v1 with no zone defense. Ex, Danny Ainge, Dan Majerle, Craig Ehlo, Scott skiles, 175lb Kevin Johnson, etc. Dumars was ok, but the size of Steph curry and MJ lost to him lost of the time.
@@grillbuster1519 He had two step travels on breakaway dunks. They get about four steps today. This guy retired almost 20 years ago and keep his life private, doesn't engage personally on social media and until now we are still talking about him. Thats Greatness right there. And his shoes sold more than the current players combined.
Bill was MORE private than MJ, and we were still talking about him over 40 years after he retired (he started getting more public around 2000). Chuck Taylor probably had more shoe sales than MJ did - but that's at least a debate.
I have had the privilege of seeing both players entire careers, Lebron’s to this point, and while I think they both are great... Jordan is literally the best player I’ve ever seen to this day...

Lebron doesn’t play with exactly the same competition nature this is possibly why people the this way but lebron is just as much of a problem if the more as he can more consistently hurt you from anywhere on the court doing just about anything whether it’s creating for his teammates or scoring much better 3pt shooter than Mike was and just about as good from mid range
Hahaha I remember a player saying that this is how he approached playing against MJ. You just kill him with kindness and you don't give him any reason to take sh*t personal 😂
MJ for 3 reasons 1. Killer instinct and highly competitive 2. Tough and unshakeable 3. Small feet for quickness at 6'6 and hands of a 7'8 center. Jordan could do things with those big hands players of a similar size like Kobe and LBJ could never do. MJ was a once in a 100 year athlete just like Wilt was for his position.

You want to win ? We know who tgat is.
From what i googled 1994-95 Chicago Bulls season The Bulls struggled in the first half of the season with a 23-25 record at the All-Star break. Jordan faxed a memo that simply said "I'm back." Then The Bulls won 24 of their final 34 games, and finished the season with a 47-35 record, going 13-4 with Jordan back in the lineup. Note: This was the Jordan has been swing baseball bats for 12+ months, not playing basketball.
Michael most underrated accomplishment was how he is the main reason why so many All-Time greats don’t have rings. Ex: Patrick, Barkely, Reggie, Malone
I saw Jordan play twice. Once as a 40 year old. During the game MJ held the ball in front of him with his arm outstretched inches from his defender. Jumaine Jones could not take the ball from him. JJ would lunge to grab it and MJ would move it a foot in one direction or another. This went on for around 20 seconds. Then Jordan and scored while the Cleveland arena booed its own player and cheered on Michael Jordan for embarrassing him. I don't think I'll ever see anything like this in professional sports again. He's the goat.
I don't doubt that Jordan was a great player, just think if his regular team was the dream team would he have had to do as much,No.and when you have refs cheating for you you always have y chance.
I really don't care, because basketball is the easiest sport to play and the be easiest sport in which to get into the Hall of Fame, but I would always say Kareem is the Goat.

Cavs deserve respect though for winning game 7 in the final few scoreless minutes.
Here’s the thing, Jordan, after winning three titles with the Bulls, took a two-year break, then came back to a completely new weak Bulls team with only Scottie Pippen as a veteran from the old days. In the matter of a single season he turned that group of strangers into a championship team. Three years running. Let me know who else in basketball history did something like that through force of will alone.

He turned that team into a championship team in less than a full season. He came out of retirement and rejoined the Bulls after they already had played 50+ games.. Amazingly, he dragged that .500 Bulls team to the playoffs but they ended up losing to the Magic i think. Its completely understandable if you take into consideration that Jordan was not in basketball shape as he had been playing baseball for the previous year and a half.
Oh yes, the amazing Steve Kerr...who had a career average of 6 points a game. Rodman was a great pick up, but was also seen as a huge risk. Because at that time Rodman was damn near impossible to coach and was a major distraction. Rodman was almost out of the league because no one wanted to deal with his nonsense anymore. Jordan is the greatest of all time. He didnt leave the team that drafted him to join a stacked team. He hustled and made everyone else better and demanded excellence from everyone else as well as himself. Thats why he's so much better than the King of excuses.
Remember when J. R. Blew the chance to win the game vs. Golden state? You can read Lebron's mind going "There is my scape goat, now we can lose and nobody can blame me". He quit right there, series over. That's to quote that kid that turned around and called the "game over" moment,
Jordan without the Bulls would not be so successful, since the Chicago squad was much above average for the time ... First to start with the bank, where Kukok in 1996 won the sixth league man award, Lebron never had one privilege on your team. Another positive aspect was that Horace Grant was an excellent bouncer, soon afterwards Roodman, simply one of the greatest bouncers in history, again Lebron never had such a privilege on his team. Finally, Jordan had one of the greatest technicians in history (Phil Jackson), and once again, Lebron never had the privilege of acting alongside a technician of this size. In short, Lebron James is the best player in NBA history, precisely because he managed to win the league with a coach called Tyroon Lue and players like Mozgov, Dellavedova, Shumpert and Mo Williams, then I ask you !!!! There is but won because the other side the team was weak !!! And the answer is no !!!! It was one of the greatest teams in the history of the league, which came from a record of only 9 losses in the season, the Warriors. Mano Lebron is the G.O.A.T
It feels like LeBron has been playing to be the greatest of all time while Jordan played to win if that makes sense. LeBron wants to win because it helps his case for greatness. While it felt like Jordan wanted to win just because he wanted to win. Two totally different mindsets and it shows like LeBron bouncing to different teams to raise his chances while Jordan retired early because he won 3 in a row and lost the motivation. Jordan wasn't chasing Kareem, magic or Russel he was just chasing himself
Finally someone with a logic and a brain. This is the most accurate way to distinguish both. In his early career and reaching his first Conference finals, all Jordan wanted was to be up there with the best of his time like Larry and Magic. I would always argue that his desire to win is unparalleled. To retire in your prime and almost reach MLB for about 18 months just shows his mentality. What I like the most is MJ stayed loyal and he was pivotal in building a dynasty. He started with a bottom feeder team and because of him, they build this legacy.

@@nateschneider2919 Nothing you said explains Lebron's clunkiness and poor shooting form. He's been an average shooter and rebounder in his own generation through out his whole career! He's had all the time in the world to incorporate great technique and form. I'm sure he's tried, but for some reason he he can't. He stopped playing hard defense 4 years ago. Even with all the modern medicine, training facilities, Work out regiments, and basketball instructors... He's still can't hit a fucking consistent fade away jumper. He still doesn't know how to play without the ball in his hands. Smh, at least him going to the gym worked out form him. Lol All we know is, if the game is on the line and Lebron is on the line..... I'm stacking my chips against him; real talk brah .
@@nateschneider2919 The way you think about the NBA in the 80's and 90's couldn't be more incorrect. That was a far more physical era of basketball. It's much more of a finesse game now than ever before. However, Jordan still managed finesse when it was far more difficult... At the same time his sheer insane athleticism allowed him to be an unbelievably better defensive player than Lebron could ever dream of being. Lebron is great.. he really is. He's no Jordan. Period.
yeah jordqn was like kobe and also alen iverson in him prime. you watch those guys its like seeing music or watching an artist draw . the basket ball they was playing was simply beautiful. i dont see none of that in lebron
@@brianwilliams2223 the fact that he won all his rings with one team is not a good thing. Ill say the fact that lebron won rings in 3 different teams is better.
@@Sf75178 lol the only running away I know is when Jordan went to play baseball 😂😂😂 talk about a quitter…he didn’t even make the bigs😂😂😂funny how him running from Hakeem’s rockets isn’t mentioned nor is his wizards career…LeBron is an assassin that’ll survive on any soil
FINALLY, SOMEBODY DID AN INTELLECTUAL BREAKDOWN OF WHO REALLY IS THE GOAT!!! MICHAEL JORDAN IS THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!! NO DEBATE. SIMPLY SPECTACULAR!
This shit hella bias this man said he was'nt gonna put totals for the stats yet in analytics he bring's up totals im not tryna say MJ is'nt the goat but this bias smh.
Jordan never needed to leave his team to go get more titles - he just made everyone around him that much better .. and he still has more titles. He also didn't need to take 5 steps to get a bucket .. its not even close Jordan is way better than Lebron.
It's got a lot of loopholes. He's enjected personal opinions into his analyst. When making a documentary comparing players it's important that you stick to facts in which you can prove with physical proof.
@@mazinkadiri3706 mjs 1st round exit during the first 3 year againts 60+ win team and arguably the greatest celtics team ever. VS lebron who didnt reach the playoffs innhis first 2 years with an ALLSTAR.
I've watched NBA since 2012 and always thought LBJ the GOAT. Never saw Jordan Play. However after watching The Last Dance & Videos like this.... I cannot support LeBron for the GOAT anymore. It's undeniable. MJ GOAT
Very few people old enough to watch both play during their prime would agree that MJ is the GOAT. Many who have never seen MJ in his prime argue for LeBron.
Glad you opened your eyes..no one can compare to MJ the basketball player. Was an honor to watch him play. And will probably never see any thing like him again.
All good stuff. Love MJ. I think you could add, as part of the “eye test”, the perception that Michael was a more graceful, light on his feet, better ball handling, just downright beautiful looking player in action. Some of the slow mo videos simply mesmerize the viewer and I feel like I could watch them over and over. Saw MJ play back in the day and the world changed when he stopped.
The First Echlon Maybe.....but I would like to see him against the bad boys of Detroit, when they played under the Jordan rules.....or just having to contend with Rodman.
He's NOT getting annoying...LeBron IS ANNOYING personified!!! and has been for years. He is even MORE annoying when he has to speak about politics and his anti-Trump insanity rants. Shut TF up and play basketball. We don't tell you how to play, so don't tell us how to vote!!!
@@bdawg610 when did MJ say he is the Goat? He talks trash and is cocky but can back it up, he is very competitive and would do anything but I have never heard him say he is the GOAT but he says he is better than someone that is being specifically mentioned
To me it's simple. Lebron's 2007 finals performance where he shot 35% from the field and his 2011 choke job finals disquialify him from the GOAT convo. 3.5 Championships (Mickey Mouse championship) in 21 years whereas Jordan had 6 in 15. MJ all day
Welp, as a Lebron stan I can't really argue with this haha. MJ is frustratingly amazing and I have to acknowledge that he is the GOAT - truly on a league of his own
LeBron is the second greatest player ever, second only to a man that was basically perfect. Theres ZERO shame in that, I dont know why so many Lebron fans are GOAT or nothing. Hell, if it wasnt for the 2011 Finals, Lebron would be neck and neck with Jordan in the Goat conversation
@TheDiaryOfAnOxymoron his loss in 2011 sums up every thing that was, and still is wrong with Lebron. I was using 2011 as a general reference for all his flaws like being scared to attack in late game situations, due in part to his terrible FT shooting. His lack of clutch, leadership, and the assassin mentally Kobe and Jordan had. 2011 Finals exposed Lebron. He may not still be in the GOAT convo if he did win, but hes 1000% OUT of the convo because of how he lost it.
@TheDiaryOfAnOxymoron lol if this video was Lebron vs Kobe it would be exactly like Lebron was replacing Jordan in this video. He’s better at everything statistically and visually than Kobe, has more longevity, has more accolades, better advanced stats, and helps his team win more than Kobe by a mile. It’s not close. Kobe is nowhere near the best player of all time. He’s barely a top 10 player greatness wise, and if we’re talking about the top 10 BEST players, he’s not top 10. Guys like Curry and Durant have more impact and are statistically better players than Kobe Bryant
@@lucasjaramillo3478 Not having Kobe in the top 10 (if not top 5) is absolute blasphemous. Put some respek on his name. Steph and KD not on that level bruh. Kobe’s mentality along with his level of skill, footwork, fluidity, body control, etc. is pretty much unmatched. Kobe won 5 chips in the toughest defensive era and toughest conference eva (00s and early 10s West). He has the 2nd most All Defense selections in NBA History (12) and 2nd most All-NBA selections (15) in NBA history. Kobe’s beaten more 50 win teams in the playoffs than any other player. In fact in the 01’ and 10’ title run he faced a 50 win team in every single round (only other great to do so was Hakeem that one year-95’). In 08 Kobe also faced a 50 win team in every round. That year he beat the Spurs in 5 games with the 2nd best player (Pau) averaging only 13 PPG. For perspective Bron got swept by this Spurs team in 07 with his 2nd best player also averaging 13 PPG. Bron also lost to Orlando and then Boston his last 2 years in Cleveland (the 1st go round) and Kobe beat those same teams for his 4th and 5th chip (09’ and 10’). Also Kobe’s 02 title run is in the top 3 all time for toughest title runs in NBA history by OPP win %. Kobe along with MJ are the only players in NBA history to be 1st team All-NBA and First team All-Defense 9 or more times. Kobe and Mike are also the only players in NBA history to average 35+PPG while also making 1st team Defense in the same season. At Kobe’s absolute peak he was the best offensive and arguably defensive player in the NBA. In the 2006 and 2007 season Kobe literally led the league in scoring and made 1st team All defense. That’s crazy when u think about it. After Shaq left the Lakers they were pretty much a G-league team, but Kobe consistently and literally willed them to the playoffs (again against the tuffest conference eva-early 00s and 10s West). Kobe is one of the only greats that didn’t have a championship caliber team built around him at his absolute peak. Despite this Kobe still accomplished a lot in his career. One can only imagine what could’ve been. We prolly would’ve seen the greatest run of all time 😔… Anyway, Mj is the only player that can see Kobe on the court when it comes to skill. The truth is in the footage. Kobe took what Mike did, expanded on it, and then did almost the same thing against bigger and more athletic defenders and again say it with me, Kobe did this against the toughest conference and best defenders in NBA history (00s and early 10’s West) lol 😂.
@Michael Jordan fans are the worst NBA fans then the number 1 player is still Bill Russell even Mj admitted Bill is the true goat so we can stop who's the better player comparisons because Bill Russell has the finals mvp named after him as the award Giver
Michael Jordan fans are the worst NBA fans then Go back to your hole. This video is an example of why you refuse to name a single player to debate against MJ on your pathetic Podcast. So stay on your channel where you delete comments and conversations that expose you.
Michael Jordan played 4 seasons/284 games fewer than LeBron. Also Michael Jordan: 2 more rings 2 more Finals MVPs 1 more MVP 1 more DPOY 9 more scoring titles 3 more steals titles 3 more All-Defensive teams than LeBron. It's about efficiency, not longevity you ignorants
Does rings trully make you better, who do you think is the best running back of all time some people will say barry sanders no rings,so are you telling he couldn't play
@@marlonpatterson4615 You can’t compare a RB in football to a basketball player. A superstar running back has WAY less impact on the game than a superstar basketball player.
@@svk_5104 That could be true since basketball is the easiest sport to play, and football is a much harder sport to score in.So Dominique, Malone, Stockton, Ewing, Iverson,V.Carter,Nash, and Barkley were all carbage players. So if rings make you better their are many players with more rings than Mike.Stop making excuses.
@@marlonpatterson4615 no ones making excuses. Nobody is ever going to say the greatest basketball player is someone with 0 rings but you can say the greatest RB has 0 rings. If you’re an all time great basketball player(like MJ or LBJ)you can get your team to the finals with one other star and some mediocre help. A running back will never be able to carry a team like that. Bottom line is, when it comes to the NBA and who’s the greatest rings will always play a factor. I’m not saying it’s the end all be all and the person with the most ring is the best, that’s idiotic because it’s a combination of rings, accolades, statics and you’re overall playing abilities BUT rings will always play a role in determining the greatest NBA player of all time. Which is MJ and it’s NOT EVEN CLOSE
Yep, it sure is. Most of these debates out on youtube are so biased but there's not a single biased opinion in this video and there's barely any opinions cause everything's backed up by stats.
