Because their rollers are low to the ground, the lever will not get caught behind the rollers because the lever is high up on the tray. Also, they use a small piece of lexan attached to their lift, so the lever will never snap out position when the tray goes forward to score a stack.

I did not copy Tilden. I don't have working pictures of his lock. I have had this modified 4 bar design for a while now. I was inspired to actually try it after looking at a team who did copy tilden. You wouldn't fault someone for making s dr4b tutorial, even though they weren't the original creator. An askew 4-bar lock isn't exactly hard to come up with. I designed the geometry without any influence from Tilden. I got the HS shaft idea from looking at 5090A.
