Lesson Overview
During reading groups, students were given activities that they “must do” and “may do” and set goals on how they will get it accomplished. They used a check off sheet where they set their goals for the activities that they wanted to accomplish in the allotted time that they were given. Students worked independently while the teacher was working They monitored their progress by checking off the activity that they have completed and continued to work on the next activity. Several students met with the teacher to do an evaluation on their “must do” work by using a picture rubric.
