Well, I’m not sure what’s going on here but it’s interesting all the same. Spring Drill? A mix of people from different bands. SDM Chambers looking cool and professional leading the way👍 Thanks for sharing.
@Richard500 It turns out they were rehearsing for Easter Court Changing the Guard at Windsor whereby they band and new guard access the castle through a different entrance. Apparently this change is for a few days only and the reason is steeped in history. During this period the band has to make different manoeuvres to the norm and this is what they are rehearsing here.😊
He is the Band Sergeant Major and is likely instructing the band members on various aspects of the drill. (I asked an expert and am just passing on what he said)
