As a tennis lover, I too obviously have the utmost admiration and respect for the three greats of the recent past but the rally between Sinner and Alcaraz in Miami (see from minute 3.06) marks the beginning of a new tennis era.
I, too, am of opinion that the Big 3, got their worthy/deserving replacement in Sinner and Alcaraz. The 3rd and the 4th one will show up soon enough. The advancement of tennis will never cease for long. Maybe they won't break their records, certainly not all of them, but in respect to the magic they are showing on the court, these two are almost as talented, regardless of what the fans of the Big 3 think and have to say about it.

feel like sinner is shaping up to be a more djokovic/federer with how early he takes the ball, the pace off the ground, the return, the backhand, the hard court specialization. carlos is more of a nadal/federer with the aggressive deep baselining, the weight of shot on the forehand, the court coverage, and the incredible racket skills both around the net and everywhere else
Bublik said so at the end of the match, but one has to wonder where, how and when Sinner could be beaten, what weaknesses? We seem to be seeing the old copy of the Joker again, the first Nole starting to break record after record. the next GOAT obviously, at least for his generation because the way to win 20 grand slams is long, but he can do it. Bad luck for his opponents, he will win many major titles.
Sinners success is based on flawless technique of both backhand and forehand. This technique gives him the advantage of been very relaxed during rallies. He is focused only in his movement on the court. That's why he is a great mover too. The outcome of his relaxation is his unbelievable and unbeatable consistency. Plus he is clever enough to moderate his tactic whenever is needed.
Only time can say. But the antepost is really promising . There’s a lot ahed to do before being a legend like Rafa Roger and Nole, but there’s all the needed to become one .
We have to give him one year to show consistency. We heard similar accolades in the past couple of years. I am still waiting for anyone who can surpass Sampras, Federer, Nadal and Djokovic
