The guy still had a tray full of pies by the time he tapped out. He definitely tried and gets credit for that much, but to be brutally honest, as far as competitive eating is concerned, calling him "really good" is too generous.

Agreed. That's *exactly* why this place makes you start with it. I feel like the guy tackling this challenge with Raina would've done significantly better had it not been for the inclusion of the waffle.

I love watching her, Randy, Katina, and Molly while I eat my stupid 300 calorie meals 😂 I’m on a diet, but watching these guys destroy so much food is weirdly therapeutic.

Buttermilk pie is the favorite of several of my family members, my favorite is German Chocolate cream pie, I tried several recipes trying to make one that tasted like the ones we used to get at Marie Callender’s restaurants, and I finally managed to get it right by simply using my Mom’s recipe for chocolate cream pie and adding about 3/4 cup each of pecans (chopped) and flaked coconut right at the end, maybe a minute or so before one would take it off the heat if they weren’t adding in the extra ingredients. Friends who’ve never had German chocolate pie just sort of moan with pleasure with that first bite. For me it ranks right up there with my absolute favorite dessert which is bananas foster. I always put meringue on my cream pies, except for the buttermilk. Hope you’ll give it a try. 😊
