I love how it reuses the End Credits motif. Like this is the end, the most pinnacle of size the dinosaur got (even if Giga wasnt really the biggest, and its a Mapusaurus in this lol)... but spooky.

Ben Bartlett is an exceptionally talented individual, every track has a unique character that perfectly captures the essence of the scene, in this instance for example beginning with these powerful instruments that reflect the tremendous strength of the dinosaurs and generate a sense of dread for the approaching clash, then switching to a slow, somber tone to portray the despair of the Argent and the inevitability of its demise that does not arrive until many agonizing hours later. There's so many composers that when given an orchestra can put together something very pleasing to the ear but so very very few have the ability to create such memorable art that stands side by side with direction, visuals, narration etc instead of being (and treated by the production as) a negligible background element nobody's really supposed to pay attention to. I honestly believe the Walking series would neither be as great nor would it be as fondly remembered without Bartlett's exceptional work.

Finally, the track of my favorite scene of chased by dinosaur ! That scene is so stressful, the argentinosaurus seem so helpless against the Mapusaurus (or Giganotosaurus ?) And the part 2:06, I don't know why they made that close up of that giganotosaurus, but I remember it scared me when I was a kid... It still give me goosebumps. Thank you !

It was Giganotosaurus then, but the remains have since been identified as Mapusaurus, which used to be considered a species of Giganotosaurus.

I always thought that Giga was the King Giga or something because of how they seemed to hype him up with the framing and the music XD

That was not a quick kill. This was like the terrestrial version of a gang of sharks attacking a humpback whale Spoiler alert: It’s not quick or pretty.
