Jade C I totally understand what your going through. When I found out my world felt like it was falling apart. I cried the whole weekend. I blamed myself. But then on Sunday morning I had decided to go to church and get closer with god. Not saying that god will fix everything but I felt different coming out of church. I got positive and the following week when I went to my appointment the doctors were surprised with my new attitude. It does get overwhelming with a lot of different appointments from meeting with the on/g, to the specialist, to the surgeon. But with every appointment I was positive today I’m 31 weeks my baby’s cyst has decreased from 2.3 to 0.78. Stay positive and know your not alone.

Candy Pan Hi, sorry I just seen this. How far along are you? Well I’m at 34 weeks and so far things were looking good for us after having shunt put in at week 23 and even tho the shunt came out it did its job and was able to drain the main cyst that was really big. Things looks stabled up in till 32 weeks they notices my baby’s mass grew twice it size ima month. CVR which is the size of the mass is at 4.6 now. Lucky my son hasn’t developed hydrops yet. Doctors are shocked that baby is showing signs of him being ok with that size since they never seen a case like ours. So we are trying to push in till my 37 week to be induced. But at first signs I’d stress or hydrops they will be delivering me. I hope you are doing ok. Stay positive! Babies with CCAM are so strong you have no idea. They are little warrior.

Hi.. sorry to hear that I can feel what you are feeling.. in my sons case we had a rough start His mass kept growing to the point were his hear was shifted to the right pressing his Diaphragm but never developed Hydrops again after shunt was put in at 23 weeks.. I was induced at 37 weeks scheduled c- section he had to have surgery after birth since he couldn’t breath on his own. After that everything turned to the worst he had to be put on ECMO since his right lung Collapse as well because he had an air Leakage.. it was the scariest. He was on ecmo for 6 days and Stayed at the hospital for a month. Thankfully he overcame that and came home with no medication or oxygen.. He is now 15 months and his lungs are fully expanded...our babies are so strong and they mostly have good outcomes...stay strong and have faith that everything will be ok you have to stay strong for baby..I know it’s a very scary thing especially since it’s a Rare condition.. all I can tell you is my sons case was one of the Worst cases and he is a happy, healthy active baby ❤️💙

Thank you for your reply.i really appreciated.my babies heart also shifted to the right chest and compressing the right lung.Doctors said that I have to wait and see what’s going to happen in next few weeks.i am scared of getting hydrops.your story gave me hope.god bless your family and thank you for sharing your story❤️❤️❤️
