Thanks for the video, Joey. Unfortunately, I'm not 100% sure that paint matches. Maybe the video doesn't do it justice. But, it definitely looks like the paint colors are off.
Does your scoop sit down in the hood where the oem one does? I’ve ordered 2 scoops that have only either the front or back sitting in the hood. Currently trying to get a refund. Paint match on wrb is 9-10/10. Thanks for the videos keep it up!
I did not sit like oem. I did end up removing the scoop as it was not perfect fitment for me. Other have had some better luck. No damage with the foam tape though so do harm no foul
@@JoeyMontalto Afd sent me a return label. Unfortunately out of a duckbill v3, f1 exhaust, cf vortex Generator and the scoop….only the duckbill and exhaust are staying on the car… 3scoops, 2vg are going back… Thanks for the reply! And thanks for the content! We all appreciate it
These seem to be pretty popular, but I'm not a fan of them personally. The transition from the hood to the scoop doesn't look very smooth and the mesh grill looks pretty tacky. It might help get a little more air in with a topmount, but you have a fmic, so it doesn't make much sense to me to have it. I wonder if a non turbo impreza hood will fit without a scoop haha.
Paint match with white is always off, i notice even a lot of people who do the paint match fenders dont get a quality paint match. I wonder what makes it so hard. Scoop looks great otherwise!
