I remember when I first got my intake with the ots map, night and day difference. Now I’m stage 2 with a fmic making 330/370, the mod bug never stops biting lol Have had the inlet on order for 2 months for the v2 ets intake, thinking about canceling the order then cutting the inlet designed for the v1.
@@two6warrior602 definitely get an aos to protect your cylinders and turbo from the excessive blow by caused by increased boost levels. The car will run better and last longer.
@Mike-xs9gr OWNING SEVERAL TURBO SUBARUS FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS AND JUST GOT A 24' VB YESTERDAY. I CANT PREACH ENOUGH ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF A GOOD AOS IF YOU EVER DO ANY SPIRTED DRIVING. IT WILL KEEP OIL LESS FROTHY, CAVITATED, COOLER AND KEEP MAIN BEARINGS ETC WELL OILED WHEN THEY NEED IT. AN AOS IS A MUST FOR RELIABILITY, LONGEVITY ESPECIALLY FOR A SOOB.
Hey so the reason the bigger fitting didn't work well is because it goes on the other side where u cut the initial piece, the smaller one goes on the back line near the AOS I figured this out the other day when I installed mine Perrin should be more specific with this.
Prior to that install, with the intake only, did the stock BPV make a weird tone when shifting. Not the spool or blow off noise but a weird like 3 second (think long pressing a phone button) noise? Im getting a weird noise after intake install and tune. Maybe thinking the stock bpv can’t handle the xtra boost and doesn’t shut all the way/makes that weird tone.
quick ques bro, i currently have a perrin intake and ordered a blow off valve, should i get the trubo inlet aswell? i thought it would be unnecessary as i would already have a bov. thank u!
can you install the turbo inlet on your vb if your tuned and running at 22 psi if the turbo inlet will increase 2-3 psi? will this put me at 25 psi? is this safe to run on my car without a tune?
