Where did you put the gas tank?

I’m putting same but non turbo. Turbo is nice but considering it’s a bus and they don’t corner, not sure the extra power is worth the work. A Cool novelty. Plus here wrx very exey here. You sound like u know your doing so I’ll check your other vids. Great job.

Subarus the oil seals for the turbo will go bad that’s common for burning oil, valve stem seals, and piston rings

I'm totally doing this. I've watched your other videos and if I can find a decent van shell this isn't too expensive of a build. Where did you get your engine? Is it a JDM motor?

Hi Jonathan, what's stopping you? Disc or drum front end? I have subie conversion with discs upfront and on the rear. Makes a huge difference. Great videos as always mate. Regards Jonathan

When you install the Subaru engine do you lose the availability of using the heat inside the car?

In 1969 when I was in the Navy at Pensacola, Fl, I painted one of those VW buses a bright yellow for a hippie friend. Actually, I really liked his bus. To show his appreciation, he drove me to the beach and treated me to lunch. After lunch, we spent 4 hours watching silent surf board movies. The seafood was great but the movies sucked!

How do you like the 227 ? Not as good as the first turbo ? Think I just have to get it off the engine hoist and get it in the split...who wants to top out at 50 mph ?
