Bill Jordan, founder of Realtree talks hunting stories and origin of the brand. Bill shares stories of two of the biggest bucks he has ever hunted that got away.
Wow. What an accomplishment. To sit down with an ikon like mr bill jordan is truly something to be proud of. I grew up with the realtree family thru the television screen..i mean literly me and my brother would do exactly what bill and david Blanton did. And we would only wear realtree camo. We climbed trees the exact same, we wore our clothing and gear the same. We tied our gear the same and did exactly the same on target practice, even down to filming our hunts. That being said. We have been very successful throughout our hunting lives. Back then. The videos were actuly educational. I like hearing Bill speak. His dream changed the hunting industry forever. A true pioneer in my book. Now tyler taking part In the family business is so great. He seems like a very genuine person and I'm sure he will carry the realtree industry to no end.
Some of my best memories as a kid was coming in from a morning hunt or on a rainy day layed up watching Monster Bucks VHS tapes with my daddy and brother. Used to fire me up an couldn’t wait to get in the woods 😂 Bills and David are some stand up guys that I have a lot of respect for
Keep the content coming guys! It is refreshing to get a more personal perspective on our hunting hero's that we watched growing up and still watch today. There is no replacement for hard work and perseverance. Living the dream for sure..
I remember the buck " stickers" David Blanton was the commentator!!! It was on one of the monster buck videos " vhs" me and my brother watched that video over and over. Huge beautiful buck. I remember it like it was yesterday.
And also not managing deer in urban areas lead to increase in lime disease. Look at WashingtonD.C. They allowed bow hunting inside the city several years back due to lime disease increase in people. People don't realize if you have alot of deer in your neighborhood you have ticks.
Speaking of 200+ inch bucks from Wyoming I have one that had been shot by a family member and not found until the next year and he scores 217 and he is in the hunting cabin in Dawson Georgia
