I love your videos and your integrity. It is great watching you having a go and I do admire your willingness to try things. Plenty will not / will never have, the courage.
Looks like it'll hold, at least better than the factory fuse/spot weld. You need to SIT DOWN. Get your nozzle closer to the weld. Also, wear safety glasses under your helmet if you're going to pop it up so soon, slag can pop and hit you right in the retina.
Hey man, it will get the job done so...one less thing to worry about. I have my R53 in a million pieces right now doing the clutch , bushings , pulleys and everything else...if you go back to grand Bend for open lapping let me know!
