@Kaneko Ken It's just unfortunate that it barely ever manages to, really stomp people, you know? Like, they used SSB in over half of their fights in the tournament. Kinda cheapens it, really. But there's no denying it's a beautiful thing.

@@t10god Well, in the early stages of the tournament. Goku and Vegeta would use Blue in really short bursts, increasing the power outage while decreasing the power usage. The only times they ever used blue alot were against Universe 11 and 6. When Goku used Blue Kaioken against Jiren and Vegeta using Blue Evolution against Toppo. People like to bitch about blue being used too much, when in reality, Blue is really the only thing strong enough to do anything against anyone. Hit? Goku Black? Zamasu? Toppo? These were all people that required Super Saiyan Blue to even stand up to.

It's just sad how they made it look like a joke in Super, when it's clearly not.

I still can't get over how Broly fought on par with SSB with nothing but base form and a small Ikari anger boost, like good god. Last I watched in the ToP a Legendary Saiyan had to fuse with another Saiyan AND go Legendary to fight on par with SSB

No he wanted to use ultra instinct on broly but broly was clearly controlling goku energy with the reverse god energy he was exhausted almost died and almost passed out and he was at the state of mind tapping into ultra instinct for a slit second until his rage makes the pressure ever worse with broly reversing the god gripple

@@strigers8007 He never intended to go ui, he was pushing his energy so high to get a head start, plus he was probably exhausted so UI was probably on the verge if broly had done anymore than that. For the most part the green was just artistic choice, especially like with vegetas hair, they did green for an artistic choice

Which is sort of full circle, since the Pokémon Infernape (who is, of course, widely known for using the Blaze Ability against Paul's Electivire in the Diamond and Pearl anime. Heck, it even looked like Infernape went Super Saiyan when the Ability was activated!) and Goku are both inspired off of Sun Wukong, the Monkey King.

Why *wouldn't* they use it? If an enemy is strong enough, there's no reason to dick around and toy with them. Hell, if they just went Blue from the start and knocked out Broly cold before he could adapt, there wouldn't be a movie.

Goku literally couldve went Ultra Instict and ended right then and there but he powered down. I get what youre saying though.

@@Lardo137 broly was adapting he was controlled during his ikari form base goku didn't touch him goku ssj was not able to do a single damage nor even hurt broly ssj 2 would just make broly block faster ssj 3 would force broly to power up and beat the crap out of goku ssj 4 would push a broly in his ikari state a tiny bit ssg would barely do any damage to broly ssb would do a little more damage to broly ikari form and goku ssbkkx would do a little more damage ssbkkx 5 would do a little better but too fast and broly adapts ssbkkx 10 would make broly get stronger each punch or blast he takes ssbkkx 20 would be fightning broly ikari fp state back and fourth and mssb was stated to be eqaul or stronger then ssbkkx 20 in dbs broly movie and uio won't kill broly but it will push him back and make him keep up and broly gets pasted through uio offense and defense and broly ssj would be crushing goku ultra instinct oman skull and make him knock out to base form and broly lssj state vs gogeta blue powered up would be easily adapting to goku muifp
