The fact that Broly probably still thinks he killed his own father sickens me.

This is without a doubt the pinnacle of DBS. There wasn't a single point during this movie that didn't have me actively engaged in what was going on. I wish i could go back and watch it for the first time in that packed theater. Fucking legendary.

I was expecting broly to truly shed tears and scream to the top of his lungs FATHEEEER! But showing him raging out was good enough. This Broly cared about his father. Even though his father abused him with that coller he still loved him, because back then him and Bah were the only things he had left

Knowing most of the DB movies and how the “villains“ always end I just hoped that Broly and his two friends survived the movie. Luckily they all did and hopefully we'll see them again in the anime Finally a Broly with a personality, a real background story except “Kakarott was crying too loud“ and even two friends who care for him.

Frieza’s got his ass handed to him in this movie for a straight hour by the very being he feared and created... A Legendary Super Saiyan.

A new kind of evil when one deceives the type of thing he fears and despises most into fighting his battle.

Gotta admit, this movie is a visual representation on how the Dragon Ball series can turn into Super Saiyan Blue. In short: That quality boost tho.

I cried when this happened, it was so epic, so strong, and watch Broly screaming and getting bigger, it was an audiovisual pleasure

It's so good that the ENTIRE theater went from laughing at Freeza's actor skills to complete "OH SHIT" when this song started

2:01 you can feel the chaos and calamity build within the music, as Broly losing all sense of control, overwhelmed by his own power and saiyan rage. Just beautiful

I had an interesting thought a while ago. This scene in particular almost made me feel bad. Not because the reason why Broly ascended to SSJ was sad (it was), but because we all wanted it to happen. Like the check mark for him turning into the saiyan we were all used to had to come from pain, in an already painful life for Broly, or at the least rough and tough one. So, we the audience are in a way enabling Paragus to be killed just to have him power up and become a SSJ and FPSSJ/LSSJ. Kinda messed up when you look at it that way, but it was expected I suppose.

I love Broly’s leitmotif in this entire soundtrack, you can hear it everywhere surrounding the film.

Reading the Injustice comics with this playing on loop is awesome! This song perfectly fits villain Superman.

This is the track that plays when SSJ Broly charges his attack in a sphere that surrounds him, and then he screams in rage and bombards the area with thousands of random ki blasts. Frigging epic moment.

This shows that when he goes berserk he still knows the only one person in his rage, his father

Someone made this same comment on a video regarding Gon's transformation to destroy Pitou, how it's so much more raw to witness a character power up not as a Hope to Save the Day, but as The Despair to End it All. While Broly isn't the MC, his incredible suffering and pain conveys exactly that. The Despair to End it All. I actually teared up a bit seeing him lose his mind witnessing his father's death. Even though they weren't on the best of terms, he was the only family he had, and knew his father loved him dearly on the inside. With him gone, there was nothing but pain and destruction to be left in his wake.
