I own a Desert Sand. So easy to ride, so relaxing, so pretty, so proper, so much fun. A simple, joyous, friendly, reliable travelling companion. There's no hurry, relax and enjoy the ride. A true gentleman's motorbike. You can't help but grin!

@timwasson1115 I've got one too. I don't feel I'm going to kill myself on it compared to the fast Kawasaki's of my 1980's youth. At 59, I just don't have the reaction time, eye sight, and/or arrogance of a fool to ride like a Bat out of hell 😑

I had one for a month and loved it. It gets smoother and quicker as you wear it in. Made me and everyone who saw it very happy until it got wrecked by an inattentive driver 🤕

That's sad to hear, you all good now?

stay safe and heal my friend. I know this all too well, it's bad, but 'what doesnt kill you makes you more strong' - I just posted my story and maybe it will cheer you up. See the new video The Ride s3e5 - stay safe!!

@@mockbattles RU-vid didn't tell me you replied 😭 Good to hear you're healing up at least, the leg guards sounds like a winner all things considering.

I’m sorry to hear. I live in SW Florida and hit and runs are epidemic here. Many bikers and pedestrians get killed. I still probably will get a 350 Signal anyway. I’ll try to be defensive as much as possible. If I lose a leg, I’ll get a sidecar. I hope you have full restoration to health. 🙏

I own this model exactly, i fitted a DNA stage 2 air filter , and picks up really good ... I love it nothing to complain. I've riding this bike for 2 months and did like 1500km already.

Have ridden only Harley's (except on dirt) since 1989 and I have to say... this bike pulls at my heart. I was stationed overseas and we had an old WLA WW2 HD... this bikes just reminds me of it in so many (loose) ways. While I won't be giving up my Sportster that I'm making into a mild chopper build, I applaud anyone who buys and gets to love this modern homage to such a classic motorcycle memory.

I own the same bike 2023 model but with black seats instead of brown. I hope you would like this info that these are actually special editions named as signals editions because in India, we have corps of signals which is generally referred as to the intelligence department within the Army. It was established in 1911 under British Raj but it got recognitions after the Independence in 1981. Thus when classic 350 reborn was launch by RE in 2021 they paid tribute to them by launching signals editions thus 40 is written in one side off the tank which represents their completion of 40 years and other side symbolizes the speed which pretty similar to the real logo of corps of signals. This is setup is pretty similar to previous gen classic 350 airforce styles blue bike where 29 was written. The stencil number you see on the tank is unique to each bike which is produced. And the number TP 28 written on the back fender referred to the tyre pressure that the army had to maintain when the bikes used to be dropped from the plane during WW2 but in the modern time it is more likely torque produced 28 though it doesnot actually produces 28.

I have owned my Signals 350 in Desert Sand colour since the end of July. I have only done just over 450 miles and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have fitted the black trapezium crash bars, black tank rack and rear rack that bolts on in place of the rear grab rail, all from Hitchcocks. I decided against buying the pannier racks from India as I have heard the same story from different people about the quality of these after market parts being quite poor. Instead I have bought the Oxford Heritage Panniers and roll bag which I think suit the bike quite well. Put on a Tweed jacket, a flat cap and a tobacco pipe in your mouth, sit back and enjoy those 350's, it's all about the journey not how fast you go.

One month into the Classic 350, Marsh Gray and loving every second on it. Great for the back roads and farmland in South Jersey. Super smooth, I mean it's that 60s style with todays motor and some great add ons like the USB port for your phone and the wire to charge the battery. For 4600.00, great stuff. Lots of fun! At 70, yea, still fun!

I'm a truck driver 6' 295 pounds. I bought a Sand color 350 signal as an alternate means of transportation. Had it a few months now and only the speedo needle melted and I had to get a new one under warranty. It is limited to 78 mph regardless of what you do to it. I've done all the mods and 76 mph is it. Tends to bog down on hills. But it's a put put, and parts out of India are cheap and get to you in a week. 😅

Super review, I was fascinated by all the tar repairs to the road surface, bet that's fun in the wet! Had mine 15 months, very reliable, we get more colour ways in the UK, with the Halcyon model, which I don't think is available in the US, it's far more "classic" looking than the one you were riding, and not as "blingy " as the chrome one. Licence laws are really bizarre here in the UK, bikes under 35kW/47bhp can be ridden on an A2 licence, which is like a mid range licence, (there's also a power/weight restriction too, to prevent the use of very lightweight yet powerful machines ) Several bikes, like the Triumphs, can be restricted so that when A2 riders get the full A1 licence they don't have to buy a new bigger machine, just de-restrict it. The catch22 is that you can't take the A1 test on the restricted bike, and you can't de-restrict it before you've passed the test! crazy, but there we go, that's Britain or you!..... ride safe

Too many laws in the U.K. Move to Florida, and don’t forget to throw a pistol in your pocket before you ride. Constitutional carry for even just residents, no U.S. citizenship required.

Great over view but lousy limey accent we aint spoken like that for 70 bloody years and even then it was only the upper class not us riff raff😂 Bought the Red and Chrome . Stunning retro looks. Why did i go from a Kawasaki 900 to this? Soul and Character. Mode bikes are super quick with all the bells and whistles. But they are Bland as hell apart from going like sh*t off a shovel ( which is fun for a while) Underneath all that plastic there is a bike somewhere. But it will constantly be telling you what to do. Motor ways on the 350 absolutely no way 55-60 is its sweet cruising spot. But back roads? Fantastic fun and recaptures pure biking to a tee. The rise of retro small capacity is happening. Even Triumph are going with their new 400s to try and compete with Enfield. Currently these little 350s are flying off the shelves and I had to order my one as they had none in stock so took a month to turn .up Been riding since 1969 had the lot . Head down ass up too foot forward big bore cruiser . Honest opinion this is one of the sweetest little bikes Ive ever ridden and definitely the best one lunger. Add the bargain price and its an incredible machine. Meditation on wheels Add a DNA stage 2 air filter and the bike is transformed with way better throttle response and induction sound But you have to be realistic its a 350 that tops out at 73ish. I've toured on much smaller bikes. Itchy Boots does ok on a 300 ( 40 countrys and counting)

Keep up the "English" accent and I'll start with the Fargo, Minnesotan 😂. Yes, these bikes get under your skin don't they? 😊 I started riding in 1980 and have climbed the performance ladder to much bigger, faster bikes over the years. Climbing back down the rungs seems much more satisfying somehow. Once you understand the Classic 350 you just "get it". I have one in the Dark Gunmental Grey scheme and absolutely love it. Best kept off the big roads (motorways and dual carriageways) but if you have to do a few miles of these to join up some twisties it really doesn't mind it at all. But, it's not in it's element at 70mph. The sweet spot is 50 and many roads in Britain are now being reduced to 50 and slower. It's the perfect bike to chill on, to forget the worries and stress of the day. Having to work it a bit harder also brings the unexpected pleasure of not simply rolling on the throttle in any gear. The rewards are always greater than the effort. Excellent vid, thanks for your views on this great little bike. Cheers 🍻 This mis-shift from 1st through 2nd is probably the gear lever. They set them one spline too low at the factory. Rotating it just one notch cures it 👍
