[23] Tufloc Medeco Original Cam Lock Picked and Gutted 

Thanks for taking up the challenge of getting this working again. I've received it back and now it works perfectly. FYI I acquired this lock as part of a collection from the family of deceased member, Bill McInerney, who was a longtime member the WCLCA (West Coast Lock Collectors Assoc). Bill was a charter member of the Associated Locksmiths of America (ALOA), and a well known authority on security and crime prevention. Bill's last job was the Physical Security Specialist working for the Navy at Port Hueneme, California DOD Lock Program; best guess is probably a sample sent to him in the late 70's or early 80's

Very interesting application for a cam lock. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of it. Awesome to see a lock with so much industry and personal history brought back to life. Looking up the patent (US3921422A) it sparked a whole separate avenue of locking mechanisms. Thank you both for sharing!

They switched to more pins over 35 years ago. It took quite a while to pick 4 pins.
