Yesterday I was volunteering at my local Thrift store/charity shop and lamenting to another volunteer that we had so many donated clothes and too few hangers. She said "I imagine in an alternate universe this Thrift Store has too few clothes and too many hangers." I have been thinking about her creative response ever since. These are great ideas for jogging the creative gears.
Happy New Year to you Ana, and to Brian, and to all the people who watch your videos. I have noticed, in the last four or five postings on you channel how you seem more to be more energized and full of positive spirit and unbounded hope. With all you have been through over the past couple of years, I feel like you gained a wealth of wisdom and many priceless experiences, which you bring to your creativity. Thank you for your creativity, your deep thinking, and your wonderful spirit.
I have never truly felt creative, but you have made me see I don’t have to write a novel, paint a picture, or compose an opera to be creative. Thank you for helping me see my simple ideas are creative too.
at my university, they actually had a course on how to be creative (in the general soft skills centre). I never took it, and now I kind of regret it. But I have you
Preciosas ideas! 🙋🏻♀️🇺🇾
Hi Ana❤ this was an inspiring video! Some additional ideas: brush your teeth or hair with your non-dominant hand … walk home by a different route…do your daily routine in a different order or at a different time of day 🙂
Love this video. Inspiring and fun ways to enjoy every moment. Creativity is a vital force to my growth and evolution. Getting outside my comfort zone expands and creates an excitement for life. Beautiful Ana. Thank you for sharing. Love 💗only love 💗
Dear Ana this is such a wonderful video, I will definitely watch it several times because it's a jewel (I don't know if we can say that in english but in french we say "c'est un bijou" !) Thank you once again for your sharing, it's very precious, à bientôt chère Ana 😊💜🌸
Love your tips! Will write them down into my notebook to have them with me when in need of an up lifting! Thank you so much, Ana, and all the best for you and Brian in 2023!
Great ideas! I use creative thinking when problem solving tasks for which a particular tool is required but I do not have. I think resourceful people do this naturally. Sometimes I discover that the "new" way of doing something is actually an improvement on the traditional way.
TIP #24 Go to the dispensary and find some strong weed🤣 (Im in the US so you can do that here) High levels of THC is garaunteed open creative channels. Actually smoke weed and do hot yoga. The universal flow of creativity will hit your brain like a tsunami.
These are wonderful ideas, Ana! Thanks so much! As an artist dealing with some chronic pain issues, using my creativity to make a living is my best option because most of the jobs available where I live require long hours on one's feet and heavy lifting, two things that my body doesn't tolerate anymore. My creativity isn't flowing very well these days, and you have given me some great leads to follow. I will listen to this video again!
So many great practical tips, Ana! Thank you for inspiration 🌸🌸🌸🌸. I love your poem 🥰. It's amazing what you created from these two random words👍👍👍it's funny and cute 🥰🥰🥰you made me smile. ☺️
Great video Ana! Creativity has always been important to my life! I write, paint, make jewelry, make magnets and study words every day! Happy New Year and thank you for your wonderful videos!!
Hi Ana, these are really great ideas to get your creative brain moving. Some of the knitting RU-vid vlogs that I follow have suggested 'stash busting' this year to get rid of old odds and ends. I have quite a big stash so I need to get my creativity going to clear that! Thank you and take care x
I love all your ideas! Lately I'm catching myself founding a lots of different shapes when observing the clouds. It opens your mind and your imagination in an interesting way. This year I definitely want to try to find again my artful side. I'm sad my life has made me forget it but I'm ready to explore again. I wish you a very healthy and happy and fruitful new year, Ana! Much love from Belgium 💚
Best wishes for the New Year to you and your family. I believe it is your Birthday soon, wish you a wonderful day. Thank you very much for this video., it is a wonderful present full of good ideas that I am going to enjoy.
Happy new year 2023 to you and your husband. Thank you very much for these tips. I’ll try some of them right now because it resonates to my mind. Congratulations for your videos and all the work dedicated to make them. It’s always a pleasure to watch them. Love from Switzerland.
Love these tips Ana, I've been tidying up my studio last week to start my new interest in junk journaling. I loved your poem from two words 🙂 Happy New year to you & Brian
Interesting point about how low light or darkness can encourage creativity. For me, I try to be sure I don't push myself. If I don't feel like doing art or music, it's better that I don't. Let inspiration bubble up first. And if it doesn't, so be it. Maybe it'll come tomorrow (or not). I try to be really gentle with myself about this. Also, I want to say how much I enjoy your collage work Ana. Not just the images themselves, but the impressive craft you've mastered to make them. Originally I thought you were using photoshop or some other editor. I just assumed, because of the complexity of your work, that you were manipulating digital images. But, I believe(?) you are creating these the old fashioned way with print, cutting tools, and glue. Amazing! Beautiful!
Hi Ted! Sorry for this late response 😊 I actually use both types of collaging - digital and analog and yes, for more complex images I use a graphic editor but with the most basic features to keep the collages as authentic as I can.
Ana, have you ever read Lynda Barry’s books “Picture This” or “What It Is”? They are about drawing and writing and being creative, especially for those who feel they can’t or aren’t “good enough”. I love her work and I think you might too.
Happy New Year, Ana:) I was thinking. Your channel name used to be Siberia Inside; well, Siberia will always be inside you, and you could have easily kept the other name for your channel:)
@@anagoldberg Your homeland will be there, waiting patiently for the world to regain its sanity. You will return to her one day. I recall pianist Vladimir Horowitz, who left USSR in 1925, only returning as an old man in 1986. When times change, you will return too:)
