VB WRX has huge tuning potential. I'm probably gonna replace my VA with one in a few years. FA20 is glass compared to a FA24, especially the turbo versions. Hoping the STI makes a comeback someday
Yah this might just be the new "STI" with the way these are making power already. I can't see them bringing it back, cause Subaru doesn't seem to care about making performance. Lots of companies offering 300+ HP cars and SUV and way higher in higher trim lvls. Subaru just keeps it under 300
I had a Q50 For a very short time but it did feel extremely fast. I have the stinger and had the 2010 TL all-wheel drive and it might have actually felt faster than a stinger just. However, it was delivering the power but it's not anywhere near as fast as a stinger. It's just something about that car made it feel like very very fast and then that engine noise. If you could, could you get that sound sometime? Remember it's sounding really good but mine had to drive by wire and once you hit around 115mph The car would start to bounce and then it literally felt like you were on ice and that is a horrible feeling going that speed and having that sensation you had like almost no control because the car is bouncing and I think it was throwing off all the drive-by wire systems which is a stupid system. And you can get a lot of power out of those. And I did find out something new about the stinger and it makes sense cuz I kept telling myself there is no way this car only has 60 more horsepower than TL well the stinger and maybe BMW does this too. Because the same guy that made the m3 m 5 is who made your stinger that that horsepower number is at the wheels on the stinger I don't know why they didn't advertise that, but that makes so much more sense. And actually I saw a dyno of a scorpion version like mine that was stocked. That was right around 410 at the wheels And the stinger feels fast but it's way faster than what it feels. It's odd sensation cuz you look in the rear view and you are like so far from the point you floored it and it was only a couple seconds earlier and I'm still 100% stock with the jb4 and the stinger. You can get massive power out of it. I know the stinger can hold almost 800 horsepower without changing any internals. . It's severely detuned in order to give you the warranty standard I guess would be a 10-year 100,000 mile. The bumper to bumper might end at 75,000 but for an extra 1,200 bucks you change that to a have a 10-year 125,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty.
@re-dx3pc 2010 TL may have 305 HP, but is had the 5AT which is sluggish and loses a lot of power. So a Stinger is way faster cause it has wayyy more tq and way better transmission. I believe it's also a bit lighter. You need the Q50 RedSport to compare to the Stinger, they're very similar performance. I wanted the G70 3.3t, but none were popping up for sale so I just got the Q50. Maybe someday I'll grab a G70. I like the Stinger, just not a huge fan of the hatch look.
Yeah but with that hatch you have more cargo room than a Honda pilot? And what makes it more absurd? What the engineers did to the TLX type s which I waited for forever but it was a disappointment that car is. I believe you got to get in here 6 in longer but my car is a 7-in longer wheelbase and has 6 in more lake room in the back. The g70 is small on 510 and I can't sit behind myself in that car and it didn't feel like anything special. Most of the reviewers had that the car they like better than a stander but I think it's just cuz it was the new car
If you're going to Sam car legion 's channel, he has a red sport go against the stinger and at no time does the red sport stop a stinger from pulling away and I've actually raced one personally and it wasn't close I don't think it was a better bang for the buck than the stinger. It's only a couple thousand in mods and the lumina off. It can do 202 and it would be in the high tens And if they kept making it I wouldn't see myself leaving but they're not
@@714integra well that's cause I guarantee those wrx and revving at 6k and dumping the clutch. An auto will always pull away easier from idle. Those 3.5 TT Tundra get out, I had the 3.5 EB 10r80.
@@RevsALot yea idk what they are doing, I've beat like 3 or 4 already. One was an older blobeye. I pulled him on the highway. All my Tundra has are TRD air filters and a Carven cut and clamp muffler. Yup those ecoboost are fast. My brother has a tuned F150 Raptor and that thing hauls.
@714integra Trucks are very quick nowadays. WRX not made to be fast. They need fbo tune and some E, then they're a whole new animal, especially the new ones.
@@RevsALot it's true nowadays trucks are ridiculous. Yea my friend had a 2018 stage 2 wrx tuned on e85 i believe, he now has a TRX😂. I like subies I used to have 2 of them. Nice video though man 👌
